Sure do you think Internet access is private or state controlled in Russia? Do you understand how a police state functions? He wil just round up anyone protesting and make them disappear. |
Eu sanctions will have luxury goods exemption.
You can’t make this up! |
China consumes 50 percent of all semiconductors in the world, yet they only make about 30 percent so they are reliant on other sources for semiconductors. Taiwan makes 53 percent of the world's semiconductors. I highly doubt that China will be giving any to Russia. China needs to take over Taiwan and will probably try soon. |
Yes. He can do stuff like that as long as his minions stay loyal. How long does it last? |
Not really. But babushkas on the metro with no war stitched on their handbags, oligarchs at threat of losing billions, battalions surrendering and thousands on the streets protesting in Russia do. Why is he begging for negotiations just two days into his glorious invasion? |
You are a useful idiot. |
I love my country. You should get the hell out. |
As Putin's actions have shown, this is sooooooooo much bigger than energy. The US could pump enough to provide all of the EU with energy supplies and Putin still would've invaded. US intel has been really good on Putin and Ukraine, and now they are saying Putin's ambitions are "bigger than Ukraine." Energy is just one issue. Europeans can survive a bit of cold. Germany can fire up it's nuclear reactors. But Putin - and only Putin - wanted a war. Because he's driven by ideology. |

You DID make it up. Your claim is not true. “Diplomats said that earlier resistance by some countries over specific sectors — for example, by Italy over luxury goods and Belgium over diamonds — had evaporated in the face of the invasion and that there was now broad consensus across the 27 member states.” https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/24/world/europe/russia-sanctions-european-union.html |
A reporter from the Telegraph is still reporting that there is a cutout for Italian luxury goods and Belgian diamonds |
Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman just said if Finland and Sweden try to join nato, they will face consequences.
