This wedding episode was so poorly written on continuity.
- Randalls girls - missing -- at least show them sitting next to hime at the wedding ig nothing else.

- The weird family portrait with Madison and her husband and missing Kate's kids

I found it hard to believe that not even one Randall niece made the wedding, especially given Grandma Rebecca’s condition.

It's a shame they've played it like that down the homestretch. The preview for next week was such silly tease. The creators want this show to be a thoughtful drama, so this is really beneath them.

Agree. That's why he's not at the deathbed scene, and Rebecca will lose both husbands.

And then she'll go downhill very very fast. That kind of trauma accelerates things. I think Mandy Moore has done an incredible job showing the fragility and irritation Alzheimers patients experience. The final phase will be a true heartbreaker.

It’s very hard to not be recognized by your loved one. My mother refuses to be cared for my gentle and kind sister. She accuses her of abuse and stealing. Last time we visited, she asked who my daughter, who was named after her, was.

The elderly (80+) usually think someone is stealing from them. Memory lapses of where they put things or how much they use,

Finally watching - it's like they are trying to squeeze too much into these final episodes and wrap up some loose ends.

My favorite pairing? Beth and Madison! Those two were great together and Beth seemed to really enjoy Madison. It is a shame Madison didn't marry Kevin so Beth could have her as a sister in law.

I agree that the writing has been terrible this season. Clumsy tease after clumsy tease, and we see so many scenes over and over again. It used to be much more subtle. I've invested enough that I want to know what happens, but I have almost no feels for these characters anymore.
