They will claim someone else killed her (bonus points if they say “a black man”) and her fiancé was so traumatized that all he could do was drive her van home to mommy and daddy, but now he’s searching for her killer in the swamps.

I'm still into this theory even though investigators said they ruled it out. Maybe they rule it back in. It would mean that the loved ones of that couple would at least know what happened.

BUT I just don't Brian is getting captured alive, so I don't think anyone is getting satisfaction from a trial/justice.
