What 2011 teams are qualifying this year??

For recruiting purposes these showcases are not relevant for any of the younger ages anyway. As with every year the focus will be on the current and next recruiting age groups - so college coaches will be at the 2009s and 2010s sidelines.

I thought Union 11 parents opted to do NC showcase in May and then all the local tournaments and showcases.

PP here. So it is correct that the regional ECNL showcases are more important or equally important than the national event for recruiting exposure for kids of recruiting age? Let's not focus on the 2011s for this question, assume older girls. I am just trying to understand which events are important for exposure if a team doesn't qualify for any national events.

The events you’re asking about aren’t “regional”. All of the ECNL showcases are national (look at the team lists). Those showcases are better for exposure than playoffs.

Yet so many parents push, control, micromanage, and burn out chasing someone else’s dream (or maybe their own?). Support them, yes. But let them enjoy their own journey.

Seriously, there are NO. “Professionals” in club soccer. Even the full timers are 1/2 rate at best. You have to be quite a loser to make a professional career out of coaching club soccer.

Best chance to get recruit is make a video highlight and contacting the college coaches and give them your schedule of tournaments/ games/ showcases whichever that maybe.

They are on the ECNL NC list of clubs attending. The older ages are going to more showcases (as they should because they are recruiting age)
