Are we seriously considering fvu in the top three I can count the amount of "good players" they have on one hand..
Ouch. That was unnecessary. |
If you observe understanding this is for comedic relief and to observe compulsive soccer parental disorder syndrome you will be fine. This is such a small segment of soccer parents looking for their opinion to matter in their little bubblesphere. 10% good info, 90% parental gibberish and opinion. But funny to watch, but scary at the same time. Living vicariously through their kids soccer journey. |
Yes, I’m assuming it’s a small segment of soccer parents but even the thought that your children is playing with these parents around is freaky. Theres just such a marked difference between the discussion of boys teams v girls teams. With boys, there isn’t as much specific observations about certain players or teams. Even with often maligned and discussed boys clubs, there’s some baseline recognition that the boys themselves are good players and that the coaching and/or overall style of play is the part that is not great, etc. While there’s movement between top boys team as well, it seems to happen with less drama or no drama at all! |
Also consider these kids aren't even in high school yet and their parents are treating a teams youth soccer season like it matters for something other than a unique childhood experience for their kid. Before it even starts! |
Love it. How soon until DB gets out of his depth or has that already happened? |
If exposure isn't the problem then why wouldn't a good player stand out in GA? If ECNL is the better league as evryone here keeps saying than wouldn't it actually be easier for that good player to stand out in GA vs ECNL? |
And this surprises on a predominantly and obviously a soccer Mom's forum? |
Because there DD plays in ECNL so therefore any knows it is the better league for development and recruitment even without any real facts and data to support the assertion. |
|
Irrelevant. Playoffs matter in GA because that is when college coaches come. In ECNL, 2011s will be U15 so 1) no one really looking at them yet, b) a fourth team will get to go to the showcase bracket at ECNL playoffs, c) the next years as you get to U16/U17 where recruiting really matters, seven or eight MA teams will go including all the showcase levels, so plenty of opportunities to be seen. |

Def Dads doing all this talking prob. It’s not a surprise. Just observing how pathetic and horrifying it is. |
I love how this page was about a innocent person just trying to get more info and opinions about who's making it this year and it turned to this🍷😇😇 |
1. Richmond
2. Courage 3.VDA 4. Arlington 5. Charlotte 6. Beach 7. Fvu 8. NCFC 9.Wilmington |
2011s aren’t getting college exposure at GA or ECNL playoffs. So neither is the answer. |
