Can someone explain AEM to me?

Agreed.

I don’t see how the county could fine them without coming down on all signs, including Black Lives Matter and the “In this house” one. Be careful what you wish for.

The signs in front of homes are fine, but the APE “open schools now” signs cluttering the medians and other county/state space should be gone by now. So should all Miranda signs, which are still hanging around 2 months post-caucus.

APE are great at creating Garbage. Much like EHN posts.

at least you are not on her kids' school listserv...or are you?

I'm on a listserv with her and it's infuriating to see her name pop up regularly. Why can't she slither away with the angry bro dads?

APE is still a thing? Schools are opening! It’s just a b—tch session now?

Last summer at this time we were definitely opening in hybrid in the fall. We know how that turned out...

This sounds made up. Where/when did it say that hybrid was the go-to when school started. Where/when did APS make this promise? I'm genuinely not remembering it.

Here's the return to school update slide deck for 7/1/20: https://go.boarddocs.com/vsba/arlington/Board.nsf/files/BR4GD8434376/$file/E-1%20Return%20to%20School%20Update%20070120.pdf

Two weeks later on 7/16/20 they announced an all-virtual start with a phased start of hybrid in October and November: https://go.boarddocs.com/vsba/arlington/Board.nsf/files/BRKNHX600E6E/$file/D-1%20Return%20to%20School%20Status%20Update.pdf

That, of course, turned into full virtual until March.

Thank you. I’m a NP and so sick of all the APS apologists.

This is so funny to me! Y’all think there’s a conspiracy theory to keep the schools closed this fall? That this fall and last fall are the same at all? Really??

No—what bothers me is that APS bends to the will of select parents. APS was going to open hybrid until the Smart Restart group started. Two weeks later APS changed directions.

Parents had nothing to do with his decision, nor should they have. He was provided data regarding the probability and numbers of deaths that would occur if APS went full-time, went hybrid, etc. He said he couldn’t in good conscience open. Felt that knowing there would be even one lost life wasn’t right. I think he was right. Other local school districts ended up doing the same, but he was the first. It took caring and courage.

Hahahah. Right.

SJH may be a troll but she called out that voucher DB. Love it.

APE is basically a bunch of whiners will continue to complain about *anything* they can. They provide zero value.

You could just report SJH's profile to Facebook. Sock profiles are not allowed.

She's not worth my time. I've already blocked whoever they are.

OK I started this thread and surprised it's still going. WHO is SJH though? Is she the lobbyist people bash on?

SJH is a prolific poster on AEM. Some believe that SJH's account is a troll account and not the poster's real name. At times, SJH has stated they are a teacher. They are very vocal and not shy about vehemently disagreeing with people, especially Rs and APEs. Personally I agree with the substance of a decent amount (but not all) of their posts, but I think they can be too aggressive in their responses. They always seem to need to have the last word and their tone and approach can be very divisive. But they are not the lobbyist people bash on. There a few of those, most of whom are, IMO, deserving of whatever bashing they receive.

If SJH is a nom de plume, they are already smarter than the morons who try to start braindead nonsense under their actual name. So there's that.

And this includes the teacher-blamer who is terrified of organized labor, the DB APE idiots, and now the incredibly stupid woman who's posting about how masks can be dangerous and citing known charlatans and their debunked studies. Real names they are using!

This part gets me every time.

+1

Don't scream irrationally using your real name for thousands of people (former friends) to see. That's what DCUM is for.

Exactly sister.

Maybe I’m wrong. I do believe these open schools now parents would be the first to sue APS if their kids got CoVID. I know the type.

I also believe some of these open schools now people (the ones that started going before a vaccine was even developed) wouldn’t give a rat’s a$$ if people died if it meant getting their special snowflakes out of the house.

^^ yep. There's this one open-schools person who is wondering now if APS will close schools again. She likes her school but is thinking about private to guarantee that her kid isn't in her house all day. It's wonderfully transparent.

Yes! Schools will close! Leave now! run! can't trust aps!

Also, with private you get what you pay for...open doors. RUN into them!

So. EHN does not want people to know who is behind the anti-CRT movement in Arlington.

She claims it's not APE. But we've heard that one before.

I have my popcorn.
