Parents Defending Education = white supremacists
Arlington Parent Coalition = anti-LGBTQ

And people defending them with their real names. Wow.

I'VE Said it before and I"ll repeat myself. This is the part that blows my mind. Also, I know some of them and really, really didn't want to know whathateful people they are.

So. EHN does not want people to know who is behind the anti-CRT movement in Arlington.

She claims it's not APE. But we've heard that one before.

I have my popcorn.

This woman just cannot read the room.

Yeah. I can't imagine anti CRT is going to get too far in Arlington. It's gross but I'm not too worried. The APE candidate lost resoundingly.

EHN is/was definitely APE. She took her name off the "steering committee" last Fall.

Can someone share what’s going on with EHN and CRT / anti CRT? APE member / lurker here. Someone posted on APE a while back about anti CRT and I saw it got shut down pretty quickly (which I was glad about). At that time EHN swore she didn’t want APE to discuss CRT so I’m surprised to read this. Also what is parents defending education??

Parents “defending” education are anti-trans/non-binary kids. When Ashlawn Elementary read the book I am jazz to a kindergarten class, having all parents permission, they sent disturbing hate mail to the teachers principal, etc. Sickening.

Got it - and yes I agree a group like that is hatefull. And is EHN or anyone else of the usual suspects affiliated with those groups? I hope not. I’m supportive of APE but definitely do not support these hateful groups.

She is APE as much as she is AEM. She is a prolific poster in both and that’s about as far as it goes, it seems.

Nope you're thinking of Arlington Parents Coalition. Parents Defending Education are anti-CRT, with many thinking the agenda is to defund public education and go in favor of vouchers/public funding of privates. Of course, it may all be the same people. The prominent voucher and anti trans people were in APE. These people seem to find each other.

I don't understand. APE is an agenda-oriented group that organizes talking points, press coverage, holds rallies. It has a steering committee. EHN was on it. They even ran a School Board candidate.

AEM is an open discussion group, that's it.

EHN's business partner, let's call her JS is full on OpenFCPS. When I get bored, I go to her twitter page to revel in her crazy. And yes, JS is against CRT and RT's many TJ lawsuit shenanigans.
