Per NY Times, he was pushed out do to missing funds. This story has a lot of life left in it. I don’t see mention of a mistress.

A lot of details seem to be missing regarding how Alex was shot. Early in the investigation and a three day weekend, perhaps on Tuesday. Also details about the double murder have not been shared.

I agree. This whole shooting incident seems staged to fit the narrative that there’s a hit on his whole family.
