Yes. Single parent and always has no issues with childcare. Maggie is constantly watching her kids overnight? Meredith is able to travel by plane all the time and her kids are magically taken care of. And no behavior issues whatsoever with them, even though they have an absentee mom. Huh. |
Yep, zero chemistry. Meredith had more chemistry with both Deluca and Riggs. Bailey and Ben are boring too. Ben would never be with a Bailey in real life. He’s much more attractive. |
The adopted daughter storyline is moving very slowly on Station 19. An independent social worker came to observe Ben at work. She said that both Ben and Bailey are very impressive but the Millers are blood. She was just advising him that this is the way most cases turn out. I don’t understand why they can’t work out some sort of compromise. |
I don't watch Station 19, lame that they dropped the storyline on Grey's. |
|
It’s unfortunate but I too discovered that you have to watch Station 19 if you want to follow that storyline. And I wasn’t planning on watching 19 but these crossovers dragged me into it. I don’t see how Ben and Bailey have a shot at the baby girl. If the grandparents were super old or drugged out it would be one thing, but they are youngish and perfectly normal.
GA has gotten stale, but like an old marriage I’m still here. |
You never see a nanny, house keeper. But she flies all over and then takes off to the mountains with this guy when she’s never home? Behavior problems would ensue for sure. And now Amelia is gone with her so only the Cardiologist aunt can babysit. |
| I agree that Meredith and Nick have no chemistry. It’s such a boring relationship. I also miss the days when Meredith was a mess, or at least made a mistake here and there. They’ve set her up like a god now. Meredith is always right. Meredith is so wise. Meredith can do no wrong. Barf. |
She may be a single parent, but she's a wealthy doctor, too. The money means she has no parenting stress. The least realistic part, IMO, is that she has no nanny. I don't know any single parent doctors or lawyers who rely so heavily on family instead of a nanny. |
| I liked the series premiere, seemed like a possible return to form. Interns are interesting and well cast. Was disappointed Owen and teddy returned though. I like the actors but the characters are sooo boring. Did like Nick a little better. |
| *season premiere obviously |
| I’m excited because I love Harry Shum, Jr. It’s nice to see him getting more high profile roles. When Adams (The nephew! That’s kind of fun.) said “It’s a beautiful day to save lives,” I admit I got a little teary. |
Oh she effed up big time in the last episode, pushing for a surgery when there was a blood shortage. She deserved to be taken down a notch. |
|
I almost wish they would end the show as grey’s anatomy, get rid of Ellen Pompeii, and create a spin off with the new interns and maybe Richard making a guest appearance along with Miranda.
The show is such a snooze fest. And they can’t and wont cancel it without Ellen pompeo |
You were prescient, PP! The show might actually have potential again. Glad the last Grey is leaving, wish Owen and Teddy would too. But wish Addy would stay. The interns have potential, we'll see. |
I agree with pp that Richard, Miranda and maybe Jo should stay, rest can go. Kate Walsh lives with her fiancé in Australia, so Addie isn't staying. |
