This is what I’d love to see more of. Not the sexist bs that makes up so much of these threads. |
| I like the dress style but I don’t understand why Pelosi wears such tight dresses. Most shift dresses aren’t skin tight. I would never have the confidence to show stomach roles and lines from undergarments like that. |
This is exactly the type of tailoring advice Ivanka needs. |
| Same! Great post |
| You're an idiot and you can't spell. There are no stomach ROLLS or undergarments showing through her dresses. |
| Having had really large/long breasts before a reduction, my theory is that Nancy doesn't wear a bra that props her breast up because they would protrude way too far out if they were fully lifted. I know that's how I felt, and I'd wear minimizer bras that packed them as close to the chest as possible, even if it meant they had to be smooshed down a bit on the chest. It is super hard to dress well when your breasts literally are protruding 4-5 inches. |
I agree with this. This is a problem many women have when they’re older because sag lengthens boobs so when you push them up, they stick out further than they used to. It’s even further exacerbate by large breasts. If Pelosi were to wear a bra that lifted, no way the SFW police would approve of her outfits (and also it’d be a PITA for her). |
What’s SFW? |
Suitable for work, I’m guessing. As opposed to not suitable for work? |
|
I basically do this. I have a style of black pants that is flattering and I have a ton. Same with blazers. In summer I'm big into sleeveless sheath dresses and I throw on a cardigan at the office. In winter I like black tights, tall black boots, and sheath dresses too.
I'll probably be working from home for the next couple of years and business travel/conferences are out, so seems like a different life. |
| I"m not sure what you're talking about "revitalizing" the work uniform. This is something people have been doing for YEARS. The most recent iteration of it has the been the "capsule wardrobe". You sound pretty behind the times, OP. |
| I love clothes and think they are so much fun. I wear something almost completely different every day (back when I went to work). But, if I didn’t like clothes, I couldn’t imagine putting in the level of effort I do. I would have to just find one or two cuts I look good in and buy that in every color. |
