If your first reaction is about the dog and not about a woman announcing she’s going to do something that gets black men killed routinely in this country, do a little thinking.

Yes, the dog part is horrible.
Worse is announcing “I’m going to tell them an African American man in threatening me.”

She knew exactly what could happen to that man if the cops showed up.

I completely agree with you. I hate irresponsible dog owners, but the woman is clearly an awful, awful, and dangerous human being.

FFS. He wasn't trying to take her dog. He was trying to show her that with her dog off leash it would easily run away from her and go to someone else.

He's a birdwatcher in his regular birdwatching spot. He probably regularly runs into dogs off leash. Carrying dog treats is a tactic; people do it do so they have some leverage with an unfamiliar, unleashed dog.

There are multiple posts in the thread stating that he wasn't acting threatened by the dog, or didn't feel threatened, and so on.

He never said he felt threatened. He said he wanted the dog leashed in the Ramble, as it is supposed to be -- with the regulation posted -- and she was refusing to comply with the rules.

The Ramble is the primary bird-viewing spot in Central Park, and he's a birder. Birds will not stay around if there is an unleashed dog, and their primary predators in urban life are pet cats and dogs. He didn't feel threatened. He just wanted to see the birds, and that's what the Ramble is for -- not for exercising your dog off-leash.

I’m generally not a fan cancel culture and Doxy but this woman literally put that man’s life at risk literally put his life at risk that Krupin might spend my brother because he asked her to follow the rules that she doesn’t think for her because She is white. And yes because she’s white because of the fact that she said specifically I’m going to tell them an African-American man is threatening my life. This is sooooo tiring.

He was setting her up for this to happen and wanted his 5 minutes of fame which he got. There was no reason to record her. There was no reason to provoke her. She may have been raped or attacked in the past which caused her to panic. Both were wrong.

She wasn't near anyone in an open area. He pulled out his phone to yell at her and provke a reaction that he could post on social media.

He Never yelled at her and there are plenty of people on Twitter who are saying they see that lady doing this all the time disobeying the rules and having her dog off leash in that part of the park so you’re making up an entirely baseless excuse.
