Teenage girls not wearing bras

Anonymous
How telling that the picture posted of a woman without a bra was deemed offensive enough to pull down from this thread. Clearly girls need to cover up their nipples I'd liberal DCUM takes such offense to something as natural and "trendy" as braless women.

As a ample breasted woman, are girls really playing volleyball without bras on these days? Sounds really painful.

Probably PP is referring to the volleyball shorts.

Yep, tacky trash. And I don't care how much money some of them have or where they work; trash is trash.

And they’ve all had their nipples airbrushed out (probably along with some other parts of their body), so I’m not sure they are a realistic reference point.

Point was braless is a thing these days (i.e., OP’s original question).

I think my point was that pictures of models are not really an indication of what real people actually wear or how they wear the clothes. I would not encourage my daughter to dress like a catalog model because their outfits are generally not made for movement and they often are not practical. I modeled and they once set me down a catwalk wearing only a strategically placed scarf as a top. I sincerely hope no one saw that and concluded that was “what people are wearing now.” It was, in fact, because the stylist couldn’t find a top she liked with the skirt she wanted to show. I held the scarf in place the whole way down and up the catwalk. They also never had us wear underwear because they didn’t want to risk pantylines—also not a look I’d recommend for actual life.

Makes no sense. Nobody is talking about shorts. Maybe someone is drunk?

Aged cheer mom here with cheerleader daughters at the all-star and highschool level. Let me tell you if the coaches even see them dress like this they would literally be suspended. They have a code of conduct that they must adhere to, unlike some of you mean and judgemental moms. Stop with the stereotypes, you jerk.

As a teenager who wears a bra maybe 10% of the time I think this discussion is insane. The idea that ALL women need a bra is antiquated and should no longer be a societal expectation. Bras are supposed to make you more comfortable, so if you have a bigger chest then it is completely understandable that wearing a bra will be more comfortable then not wearing one because of the support it provides. No teenager is going out of their way to not wear a bra in hopes of catching the attention of some creepy men on the street; their decision to wear a bra (or not) is based on their preferences. I am really surprised to so many women still under the impression that not wearing a bra is some lewd, inappropriate fashion choice. You all should probably focus on yourselves before you comment on a thread dedicated to teenage girls' boobs.

I think it’s about women being frightened by other women’s nipples.
