[/quote] I think my point was that pictures of models are not really an indication of what real people actually wear or how they wear the clothes. I would not encourage my daughter to dress like a catalog model because their outfits are generally not made for movement and they often are not practical. I modeled and they once set me down a catwalk wearing only a strategically placed scarf as a top. I sincerely hope no one saw that and concluded that was “what people are wearing now.” It was, in fact, because the stylist couldn’t find a top she liked with the skirt she wanted to show. I held the scarf in place the whole way down and up the catwalk. They also never had us wear underwear because they didn’t want to risk pantylines—also not a look I’d recommend for actual life.[/quote]
