DCUM nicknames for repeat posters?

Sometimes of course it's appropriate, but often it's more like:

My neighbor just put out a green trashcan, green seems more popular, should I buy one? MYOB!

My SIL complains a lot about the weather, is there something I can say to stop it? MYOB!

And there is another pathological poster in the family relationship section, anything remotely about in-laws, firs reaponse is “ make your husband deal with it!” Hello, not always the only answer with in laws.

How about the MLM basher? She starts a new thread every week hating on all MLMs, and is so anti working women.

Uh no. It’s not one poster...
But I suspect you are likely the one person championing “boss babes”!

The elf who is always working in how tiny or 'petite' she is. She can't do this or that because she is so tiny and elfin!! She also wants to know how much everyone weighs. Omg. I think she's my mother in law!!

She’s the worst - she’s never supportive of other women

She's contrarian, which isn't the issue, the issue is starting every single post with the inarticulate, "eh, just bring more tacos to the party" type comments. Just drives me nuts that anyone has to start every comment with an "eh". Like women who have to start every sentence with "So. . . there we were . . . "

I feel you, PP but the "MEH" poster is somehow more annoying to me. I, of course, think there is only one person doing this!

I will also add "Flight Pattern Lady" if it hasn't been added already.

+1. The "eh" poster drives me more nuts than the "meh" posters. Just say what you have to say. You don't have to preface with an "eh, meh or so".

Kate's Best Mom Friend. Believes Kate Middleton is a personal friend and reacts accordingly.

I post a lot of real estate in Vienna.

And you can count on me to offer the same observation in every redshirt thread based on my own kid.

Yup. So many DCUMers will only post anonymously because they are actually afraid of people knowing their real opinions.

There are several of us. I am the one of them. I am the one with the teenage daughter and the do-nothing wife (who is taking a nap now, because, why not?). I work full time, she does not. The sink remains full of dishes.

Not your wife posting, but totally possible to work part-time and still need a nap.

I'm the adult daughter of a mother who did nothing and a father who worked full time and then came home and ran the household. I have very little respect for my mother.

Quite possibly your mom had undiagnosed depression or anxiety. Sleep is a form of self-medicating. If your mom legitimately did nothing to help raise you, she probably was battling demons you’ll never know. Your lack of respect for her didn’t help I’m sure.

DP. How vile thou art!

I think PP is onto something. I am by no-means a do-nothing Mom, but am certainly an unappreciated Mom. If I cook it's not good enough. If I clean myself, which I do most of the time, it's not appreciated. If I didn't pick up constantly around here, there would be trash everywhere (husband couldn't find a trash can if it hit him in the a$$). If I clear a counter, within 2 days it's full of crap again because no one can open a drawer or find a cabinet.

After 23 years, I'm frankly burned out. I'm sure my husband sees that as some sort of 'mental illness'. It's not. It's rebellion.

That's 98% of women here. We do not like MLMs, because we are supportive of women. MLMs are shitty companies taking advantage of women. Wake up.

If this is true......instead of doing anything with your life, here you are.

Instead of taking ANY of the advice you’ve gotten, you’re here, not even actually complaining. Your being here, half participating, as we all suspect you do in life.

Nah. I do my part. I will take care of the dishes soon. DD now helps out more. And she is doing well in school. DW has been diagnosed with BPD. I could leave, but I do not want to hurt DD.

NP. I remember you. Is she getting treatment now? Exercising or doing stuff with DD? I’m sorry but am also curious what you understand her to do all day every day.

There is another distinctive poster in the royalty threads who talks about other DCUM royalty posters using 'we'. As in 'we like posts about pretty dresses' or 'we dislike Meghan' or 'we think Kate's hair is beautiful.'

I always think of her as the Royal We poster.

Anonymous wrote:The woman obsessed with her Executive husband. Always capitalized Executive when starting posts about what Executives eat, do, etc. I call her Captain Executive!

I don't think she was real, but yet loved her anyway. I loved that someone thought that a middle-aged guy who is an Executive would have some special breakfast that's different from what some other middle-aged guy would eat. She picked the most random aspects of life to wonder about.

If your husband is an Executive, does he put on one shoe and one sock, or both socks and then shoes?
If your husband is an Executive, does he use his parking break all the time, or only on hills?
If your husband is an Executive, does he call your son "Sport" or "Champ"?
If your husband is an Executive, what brand of ear and nose hair trimmer does he use?
If your husband is an Executive, does he give the illusion of being in love with you or is he blatant about his side piece?
If your husband is an Executive, do you cut his meat for him to save him time or will he do it himself?

LOL. I need to look these up.

I thought that was one original poster and all the rest were other people being sarcastic/making fun of her?
