These claims are past the SOL but that does not mean they shouldn't be taken seriously for a job on SCOTUS.
But, that being said, I do fear we are paddling up a creek we will not be able to go back down. First with no hearing for Garland (bad GOP optics) and now this (people see this as the Dems being desperate), i fear we will NEVER get a full court either due to elections coming up or something from high school coming out.

Gorsuch was CONFIRMED and easily. Or do we just like the "both sides obstruct" story line?

+1 So was Roberts.

This line is getting really old. Kavanaugh tips the court and we all know that is why some people are freaking out and willing to go to any length necessary a la Schumer.

Get used to it being a really old line, because it's the truth.

Speaking of really old lines, you can stop quoting Schumer now

This is not an interview for Undersecretary of Paperclips. This is the highest court in our country, for a lifetime appointment. Surely there is someone else.

And nope, he doesn’t ask for an investigation. He’s just blows sputum all over everything again.

Pervy Brett has got a lot of conduct to answer for. We now know multiple Yale classmates knew about the second charge for a long time. Meanwhile, there are more shoes to drop. Avenatti has another case and the Montgomery County police are also aware of an additional case. Let’s take the time to properly vet this candidate, instead of ruining the reputation of the entire Supreme Court, by rushing him onto it.

Let the investigation of the accusations run its course and then he can be put forward for the next opening, surely Ginsberg will retire soon.

Why should he withdraw? He's not guilty of anything wrong.

He is currently guilty of besmirching the dignity of the Court, whatever he else he may or may not have done or lied about it in the past.

He didn't do anything to besmirch the dignity of the Court. All I've seen thus far are unsubstantiated claims by desperate liberals, going forward with what thus far appears to be a smear campaign. Can't blame that on an innocent man.

Remember last week, when the defense was, it cannot be true without multiple victims?

I don't remember that, but apparently went out to find some others to make false accusations.

I sure hope money isn't changing hands.

Limbaugh said this last week. He, again, is correct. He also feels that Clinton and Obama have their hands all over this. I believe that is correct as well.

Indeed money may be flowing to the campaigns of Graham and McConnell and Grassley. And what ever happened to Pervy Brett’s #200K debt that vanished? There should be a special counsel to look into all these shenanigans.

I do. And I look at them.

- Someone older than Kavanaugh

So does my spouse - also older than Kavanaugh.
I suspect one day, some of the people on this site will regret not maintaining calendars and records.

I can gurantee you this much that we would demand a non-partisan investigation before coronation.

Good for you, Brett.

This bothers me as much as these assault claims, because this we KNOW actually happened. And also BK isn't denying being a raging binge drinker.

I agree. Why are they trying to ram through a nominee who they seem fully aware is a serial rapist? With $400k (it was $200K, twice, pp) in debt that just disappeared. And this after both Grassley and Graham had sudden changes of heart regarding trump? Maybe the same thing that changed their minds on trump is forcing their hand on Kavanaugh.

We knew for a fact that Clinton and Lewinsky had a consensual affair.
