Trump sides with Russia, attacks America

How can Trump supporters excuse Trump’s behavior at the summit, when even conservatives (Bret Baier, Brit Hume, Joe Walsh) are calling his deference to Putin “disgusting” and totally disavowing it?

Are you Trump supporters now going to call all those people secret liberals or something? I’m honestly curious as to how you can continue to defend his behavior when members of your own team are now coming out against it.

I do have a serious question though for those of you and truly think you are witnessing the destruction or demise of America: What is it exactly that you fear is being destroyed? Do you really think that all the freedom you enjoy (and always have because nobody has been able to destroy it up to this point) is truly at risk? You'll have a new President in a few years. Even if something gets broke, it will be fixable.

Minorities and women have had far less freedom in this country historically. And we are losing it again. Religious minorities, LGTBQ, racial and ethnic minorities, etc.

Freedom cannot be taken for granted.

So all this just so you can ban abortion? Even IRELAND has moved past that old dogma

I don't think this is just about getting the GOP agenda passed. It can't be, it is too much. There has to be dirt that some people have on some other people and are extorting them. I can't believe it's just to get some tax cuts and try to criminalize abortion.

Conservative SCOTUS

But you could have had that anyway if you elected someone normal and non-treasonous. Trump is picking the same justices that a Romney would have picked.

I say this with love and agreement, but, “duh.”

Yeah, Romney is not a president

All they got is Trump, They now riding his wave for as long as they can to get most out of this situation - SCOTUS (thanks to Reid )

Should they had 60 votes in Senate - we would also see repeal of ACA, H.R. 38 (concealed carry reciprocity), conservative immigration bill, and who knows what else.

And Trump just tweeted:

I have GREAT confidence in MY intelligence people.

“MY intelligence people” ??? So much wrong with that.

(Left unsaid... but more confidence in Putin...)

damage control. too late for that you treasonous jerk. he said he trusted American and Russian intel equally on foreign soil. If Obama said something like that, the GOP would have impeached him instantly.

Hmm...now Foxnews.com is acknowledging the controversy but spinning it as Mueller related, conveniently leaving out that Trump criticized American intel and blamed the problems in US-Russia relations on the USA.

Trump triggers outrage over defiant news conference with Putin, as Dems fume over Mueller criticism

Yuck even that makes it sound like he was defiant toward Putin, which isn't even close to what happened, of course.

except when it comes to Russia. Then I only trust Putin.

I don't understand how any semi-intelligent person doesn't see the contradictions in Trump's statement. How do you believe what he says? Which "truth" of his do you believe? Someone please explain because I just can't get my head around it.

Just what you’d expect from his propaganda.

There's a few other headlines. They're now acknowledging the controversy but making it seem like only Democrats (Pelosi etc.) are furious at what Trump said. I can now understand why more Republicans aren't outraged by Trump's behavior--they're only getting a partial view of his misdeeds.
