I want to echo this too. You are not bad parents. You didn’t do anything wrong. He did. |
Thanks. i have my moments but overall, I think I've average.

(Victim's parent here) That father's child and my child are good friends. I held it together until he got up and started talking. |
Haha! I’m average too. Cheers to us! |

Why is that? Doesn't YY have consistently better scores than LAMB? |
|
Because in 2017 LAMB's PMF report card was stronger.
LAMB earned 87.7%; YY was 86%. FWIW BASIS high school scored higher than both, with 95.5%. |

Not this year. You can check out all the scores on the DCPCSB website. |
| Test scores aren’t everything. |
So true. And test scores aren’t the only factor in the PMF score. But I suspect that isn’t what you meant. |

Why on earth didn't they install security cameras in the basement and other areas in 2015? That would have put Fernandez on notice.
Child molesters are opportunistic and look for the path of least resistance to what they want. |
The believed that because the police weren’t pressing charges, Fernandez was vindicated. Which he wasn’t. They should have realized that even if he were innocent, they needed to button up their operations. Should have done so much differently. |
They also chose to believe their friend and not the other adults who were reporting his behavior. It seems that Cristina had her crew of trusted employees/friends and the teachers/adults who were reporting the abuse were not in that circle and thus were made to feel that they were seeing things or were jealous of Fernandez' popularity. This is overall very sad for everyone involved and I agree that this is only the beginning and more things will come out to light. |
