The believed that because the police weren’t pressing charges, Fernandez was vindicated. Which he wasn’t.

They also chose to believe their friend and not the other adults who were reporting his behavior.  It seems that Cristina had her crew of trusted employees/friends and the teachers/adults who were reporting the abuse were not in that circle and thus were made to feel that they were seeing things or were jealous of Fernandez' popularity.  This is overall very sad for everyone involved and I agree that this is only the beginning and more things will come out to light.[/quote]
