Basis Mclean

Lets bump it up so everyone can read about the Block's salary. It's only a COUPLE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS! Go Blocks Go! A parent who applied to Basis McLean initially reported that, but it was later reported it was actually from New York City. Funny any FOR PROFIT company would brag about a CEO's salary. Make Basis Great Again!

We must protect "the curriculum". Heaven forbid anyone steal out "secret sauce" of AP exams, differentiating between the sciences in middle school, and teaching a useless dead language for the hell of it. OMG!!!! Don't let it get out!!!!! Someone will copy us!!!!

Come on, that's not fair. The Blocks work hard to steal all that tax-payer money for those non-profit charters they run!

Don't say that about that about "the curriculum". In the words of the shill from New York City, "The curriculum is the curriculum, and as you know it's a fantastic curriculum." Admit it, you know it, it's a fantastic curriculum. Where else could you take an AP EXAM but Basis? And learn Latin just for shits and giggles?

That nyc person is awful. If I send my DD there, will she also learn such poor grammar? That shill writes like a 4th grader on Yelp.

Yeah, but at least at BASIS you don't have to take all those pesky "artsy fartsy" classes or PE. We can't let kids waste time on all that.

They actually do have movement expert teachers. And at the info session I was at, they said the difference between the FREE DC Basis and the 25,000/year McLean Basis was the Art Studios and Facilities. I'm assuming it's way advanced.

Hopefully the art facilities are nothing like the Silicon Valley school, then. Those are definitely not "way advanced". Most public schools have better facilities than BISV.

The New York City shill did say, "It will have the same awesome basis curriculum as other basis schools, and it will have the same uptick in amenities and extracurriculars as the other basis private schools."
