This is huge. I was on the fence for DD (grade 6) and now am much more inclined to jump ship and try Basis

Would you really go to Basis just for this one teacher? Not being snarky - genuinely curious.
How do you know what grade he would teach? Ie would your DD even ever have him.

We are already going there, but I was truly surprised to see him at Meet the Teacher event. He will teach MS Math (Algebra/Geometry etc.). My child is very excited and impressed that there is Wiki page on him and will most likely be in his class.
