Do you think having sex on the same bed while 13mo child is sleeping consider child abused?

I am sure in other countries that other PP mentioned, 5 year old kid still sleep with their parents because they don't have rooms for everyone. Their house is one big room you can see from the door to the end of the house.

Sorry, off topic..

A 13 month old is not an infant. Mine has words and mimics much of what she sees. She is like sponge taking in everything around her. She isn't some inanimate brainless blob.

How about while she's asleep?

Let's be serious, a 13 month old who still cosleeps isn't a good sleeper. Probably wakes up 6 times a night to breastfeed only to find the boob in dad's mouth.

Bad assumption and ugly post.

1) Not all baby is good sleeper, even some adults.
2) Cosleeping isn't necessary involving breastfeeding.
3) If they baby woke up that often, they were probably both deadly tired and want sleep more than sex.

Learned verb tenses will make take serious more.

I think having sex in front of a child qualifies as [b]indecent exposure
.

This. NO matter what age.

And, as noted, they live in native huts. They probably wipe with their hands and don't use cutlery either.

This post offends me more than posts about sex with children sleeping in the same room.

Holy Puritans. No, it's not abuse. In most of the world, it's totally normal.

If the child is sleeping and is not aware that the parents are having sex - it would be a moot point. No?

THIS!

Also, this pales in comparison to real abuse. Actually this is insulting to victims of real abuse to equate this with child abuse. Holy moly!

No, absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Indecent exposure is an act designed to titillate - that's not what's going on when the baby is sleeping.

Good for OP! I have a 16 month old and DH and I have had sex all of twice since he's been born. So having sex with a baby on the bed is better than us. Having no sex and marching towards depression/divorce.
