Enough about "vanity sizing." The sizes have changed. Period. They are not changing back. It's like talking about "old time" three weeks after daylight savings time went into effect. |
I'm 5'8" and 145lbs. I'm a 6 or 8 depending on the designer/department store. I don't believe you're still a 2-4 or your clothes are to tightly fitting |
amen! |
About 170+ lbs, 5'8" and just bought some capries in size 10 and 12 from Kohls..seriously that's ridiculous vanity sizing when I'm wearing a size 10 in anything...never fit into a 10 for years, so that tells me sizes continue to work towards the vanity direction LOL! |
uh that was supposed to be capris lol |
wow! i can't understand it. i am 5'2 and 165 lbs. I wear a size 16 dress size!! and a size 12 jeans. |
5'2" 126. Between a 2 and a 4, depending on the brand. I am extremely toned, so heavy for my size. |
5'7" 130. Size 2 at J. Crew. I am 10 pounds heavier than when I wore a size 4 in 1985. |
5"4, 140 lbs - size 6 |
5'4 and now at 138, dropped 10 pounds in the past six months and have slimmed down to a current size 8 from a size 12 a year ago. Aiming to get down to 130, maybe 120 or even 110 if my body allows it, it'd be nice to say I can fit into a size 4 again after 11 years. |
5 2", 119, size 6P, in most clothes, thanks to my butt. Size 4 in Ann Taylor and some banana republic though. |
I'm 5'7
125-130 lb size 2-4 but sometimes 0 in large sized brands like BR, size 27 in designer jeans size s-m in tops and dresses size m in outwear |
THE worst indeed. I wear size 0 at BR and 4 everywhere else. |
Wanted to add that it depends on how you carry your weight. I look skinny and long and people always surprised that I'm only 5'7 and weigh as much as I do. I'm always told that I look like I'm supposed to weigh at least 10 pounds less. I only do yoga and pilates so it's not muscle weight. Maybe my bones are heavy but I have no idea whether such thing even exists. |
Why in the world did I just read this thread? Continue on patting your smug selves on the back. |
