You might be, but the majority of America is center right, which is why Obama won as well (he was center right despite what Fox News would lead you to believe). Because he was center right he was a fantastic president.

Biden campaigned as a centrist but let his advisors do far left things like open the border, which brought on a crazy zealot like Trump. If Biden would have governed like the person he campaigned as, and didn’t drop out because of his decline, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

This primary is going to be fascinating. Of course there was dnc meddling in the election, but Bernie got his butt kicked in the southern states back in 2016 and it will be a repeat of that with AOC on the ticket.

Nah, a majority of Americans want a government that works FOR them, not one that grifts off them and starts wars. "Woke" is just the word that stupid MAGAs use when they're scared that someone with actual policies that are designed to help people seem to be gaining too much traction. No one is voting for JD Vance except for the sheeple who persist in watching Fox news and thinking that the lies they're being fed are true. I think there's a lot of copium here. It's possible someone like AOC when when because she's a woman and young but not because of her policies.
So yeah Bernie was more popular because he was an old white man not because his policies were radically different.

But my point is everybody wants to believe the country is centrist but they want change. They want something better, different.

So Dems can offer up the same old same old and people look for change in the grifter like Trump or they can offer up someone who's actually trying like Mamdani and probably win.
