And: what color do you want the front door of your house to be? Red? Oh my God, me too! We're meant to be together! |
Patrick is far and away the most attractive man on the show. I don't understand why him being Asian is an issue for him at all. He's tall, has a good physique, and American mannerisms. I live in the south and white women date Asian men all the time, so I can't imagine this is an issue in deep blue Denver. |
Also—he kept referring back to this as though she was supposed to know that this was his way of communicating that he wanted to be with her. This guy has a long way to mature. Reassurance is not “but I asked you what color you wanted out front door to be…how can you not know that meant I wanted to be married to you forever???”

^unpopular opinion. Sorry but he’s just not that attractive. He’s nice looking but his insecurities and awkwardness actually bring down his overall attractiveness IMO. |
Not sure if he is or isn’t—but it sure seems that way. If he is, I feel so bad for him that we can all see and embrace him for who he is and yet he seemingly cannot. Even with the story he told about being a depressed or withdrawn teen and how his mom was like “bro you can tell me and we’ll love you always”—it sounds like, even if he was thinking it—that convo made him double down his denial. This is why you dont force people to come out of the closet. If he is hetero, he’s trying real real hard to prove it. And it just shouldn’t be that big of a deal. |

SPOILERS
- - - Thank god Nick finally dumped Annie. It was inevitable, but glad he didn't drag it out any longer. They have zero in common, painful to watch. He hung in there as long as he could stand it without leaving her at the altar. Madison, too. Those ladies were insufferable, so immature and whiny. Have a little dignity! It's not like they actually loved those guys, just wanted to get married. No self-awareness whatsoever. My guess is one wedding: Ali and Anton. KB would be a fool to marry Edmond, and I don't think she will. But she'll give a nice speech at the altar, getting her screen time in. She's got big dreams, baby. Megan and Jordan shouldn't marry either, have nothing in common. She has too much of a life of leisure for him; they just don't make sense. Already the resentments are building. No glimpse in previews for next week, so think they break up before the wedding. Unless their wedding is intended as a surprise. I guess I would be surprised, but not totally shocked if it happens. I also wouldn't be surprised if there are no marriages this season. |
I think you summarized this welll! |
Of course not—but Kacie didn’t say that. Patrick was the one who said he had been told that before (which was his way of sharing with Kacie that he has been told he is good looking…and he also said he had been referred to as a “hot Asian guy”)—and we know that this gave Kacie reason to think he is hot. She knew he was Asian when she said yes. So I don’t think this supports the “she’s racist” claim. She just expected him to be a level of hot that she thinks matches HER level of hot…and when she did t feel that, she was like “nope can’t do it” and then knew that she would look like a total superficial betch in the scenario (which of course she does because duh! The whole first half of the show is based on connecting via emotions instead of looks and she did her best not to react with disappointment and tried to disguise it as “I’m nervous” at the reveal in order to protect his feelings and her brand because she’s not dumb and knows that is a terrible “look” to reject someone you already profess to like based solely on their appearance. But the truth is that our attraction to potential mate does involve physical attraction, pheromones, and other factors in the physical realm beyond personality and temperament match-up. There really was no good way for her to break this news to him without hurting his feelings, but she definitely made it more difficult on him by not ripping off the bandaid. She tried the “it’s not you—it’s me” approach but she really just needed to say “I really want my brain and body to connect this whole experience but I am just not feeling a physical attraction and I don’t want to put us through the awkward expectations and frustrations that an intimate getaway would put on us. So I think we just need to reconnect as friends, if that’s something you would like to pursue” Then at least he would know that she’s not into him romantically and likely will never be. But she has to live with the fact that she chased him in the pods and basically pod-se*ed him to get him to be with her. So icky. |
Previews show her on the ground crying with her mom consoling her so no marriages this season. |
Dude, he talks like an idiot. |

The LIB formula is obvious that production encourages the couples to push back and sow doubt. The conversation with Nick and Annie was excruciating to hear - the but I love you, but I love you, over and over. The constant white noise from KB is exhausting too, with the same speech about the elephant in the room and disrespect- both done with ridiculously
false lashes. Signing up for this show is just a way to get exposure for whatever the reason, be it a brand, business or lifestyle - not for marriage. |
| Edmond and his stupid hair pick. Can you believe he wore one to his wedding? |
| They show Anton popping a bottle of champagne and his mom cheering at the end, lots of smiles. Maybe him and Ali say Yes. |
I saw her crying while hugging a man (standing up)? Her dad? Couldn't tell if it was happy or sad crying. |
Look at the competition. Edmond acts like Rain Man. Joe is an out of control drunk. Nick is gay. Jordan looks greasy and is a gold digger. So Patrick, for all his faults, is the most attractive and not by a little. He's the only normal, straight man without a fatal character flaw. Period. |
