Why is Annie's hair always looking SO awful, when she's a hair salon owner? I would really expect better from her. I can't even figure out what's wrong with that mess, just know it is one.

Didn't Anna and Patrick ask each other "what are you?" Was that rude and inappropriate? The op was talking about the conversation between Anna and Patrick though! From the conversation about their upbringing, learning English at 8, immigrant isrents, etc they figured out each other was Asian, but wanted specifics. She is Chinese. And I think he said he was multiracial.
