Funny enough SC's 08 is probably the strongest at this point. KL's 11 are playoff bound but then that's it. 10's were one of their best team can't stop losing at the moment thank goodness for the Cup, playoffs secured amirite?

Do you even hear yourself? Can you understand that the depth of the level of involvement you have in a children’s sports league is part if the priblem?

Do you realize that these young women are mostly heading to P4 soccer programs? Many of them have been playing at a high level for years and by now it's a bigger part of their lives than just about everything else. "A children's sports league" suggests you don't understand what these young women are doing. I bet some kids and parents would think the intensity of academics at TJ or Cathedral is crazy, while others love it and aspire to more of the same via an Ivy education. If your kid is on a path to potentially play P4 soccer or get into an Ivy, then you're probably pretty interested in what they're doing. And others will prefer "letting kids be kids" and not get too caught up in sports or academics. Different strokes for different folks. I'm not commenting on the approach certain coaches take, just your reference to "a children's sports league."

Just to clarify. It’s ok to verbally assault players on opposing teams committed to P4’s? Just because they mentally should be able to handle it according to some dude on a sideline. I hope ECNL shows you the love you asked for, or possibly shows you what supporting the team means. Stay classy Bethesda!

Those girls aren’t going to P4 if that is how the parents act. College not only scout players, they scout the parents of the players as well. I’m guessing by the parents antics, academics takes the back seat to soccer and I would be shocked if they have excellent grades.

On a side note, the Bethesda Player who is USYNT player was not part of this circus and are good people.

When you “respond” to a post, do you even try to respond to what the poster actually said, or do you just automatically fall into a non sequitur? The post explicitly said it was only responding to a PP’s reference to "a children's sports league." Literally no one on this board has defended what the Bethesda parents did, quite the contrary.

It’s not a children’s sports league? Are these players already 18? Are they playing gin rummy, not a sport?

So with the new Referee Abuse Prevention Policy (Policy 531-9), these kinda actions towards ref would be min 2-4 games suspension.

Would the similar concept apply if it’s committed vs players?

The policy applies to players not people on the sidelines.

Isn’t the policy is for the sideline/ coaches/ players toward the ref?

Maybe the same guidelines could apply that verbal abusive of any kind toward ref/ players/ coaches and opponents sideline.

There are about 6 Bethesda dads that all stand together and taunt the opposing teams players. They are completely trash. No class or any understanding of how to act like an adult. They should all be banned from attending any future games.

I have never seen this bethesda girls team play before but after reading these posts, I want to get some popcorn and head over to their next game. Do you think things will have soften up after last week's game or should I expect to be entertained if I attend their next match?

The opponents are going to wonder why there are 3,000 people on the Bethesda side of the field this weekend all with cameras
