Checks out. All that matters is the W |
They have blocked the video |
I would be embarrassed. Not a good look for the team or club. |
To clarify, not a good look for Delco. Delco (parents and players) 100% instigators yesterday, both on and off the field, including using comments with racial undetones. |
THERE WERE NO RACIAL UNDERTONES IN ANYTHING THAG WAS SAID FROM DELCO! Bethesda was harassing 16/17 year old girls, yelling at them, clapping at them. and the delco parents simply asked them to calm down which is when bethesda tried to square up one of the dads on delco. bethesda also called the girls on delco white trash. they were the ones with racial undertones. |
Bethesda has been known to have extremely obnoxious parents and specifically call out girls on the other team. it's absolutely disgusting. grown men should have no part in yelling at girls for just playing the game. at one point a bethesda dad ran out on the field. they clearly started this issue and seeing as their coach got a red cart for cursing delco's coach out, that's just more proof! it's normalized at their club. to say delco it looks bad for delco is historical. the girls were simply defending themselves from parents harassing them. |
ABSOLUTE NONSENSE!!! The only comments that had "racial undertones" were the comments made by Bethesda players. Being on the sidelines, and listening to what the girls had to say, It says it all. Several players were called "White trash" and called "white girl scared". What a shame a soccer game had to advance to this. And if you want to talk about "instigating", the parents from Bethedsa were taunting and instigating the Delco girls the whole game, leading them to snap back. You can hear it all in the film. Those parents, as well as Bethesda soccer club should be absolutely embarrassed. Not to mention, minutes before the main issue happened, Bethesda coach, Shaun Cryer received his second yellow of the game (which results in a red card, and being kicked out) because he cursed out Delco coach AND 16 year old PLAYER ON THE BENCH!!! Disgusting. Not a good look for Bethesda. |
The same can be said for Delco |
If you're going to take the time out of your day to make comments on here, at least take your time to LISTEN to the game footage. Because you are absolutely wrong. Delco parents have respect for the teams parents and players. No Delco parents picked on ANY Bethesda players or made comments regarding how they play the game. Bethesda parents are absolutely ridiculous and CLASSLESS!!! |
Don’t know, don’t care what Delco has done in the past. As a Bethesda pre-ECNL parent commenting on yesterday’s tape that I saw before it got taken down was overly exuberant soccer dads doing too much. A 16 year old girl had enough of the abuse and popped off on the parents. Mature parents would have stopped then because it’s not the 16year olds job to model decency and restraint. The parents doubled down calling her weak minded for losing focus. The Delco parents were on tape this entire time and reacted rather calmly. Calmer than I would have been if a group of parents circled and verbally berated my teenage daughter.
This is on Bethesda’s girls program. Bunch of privileged parents and golf bro coaches doing little to help girls become women. |
Have played against Delco quite a few times, they are not always respectful and full of class |
I agree, the child, a 16-year-old girl, had enough. At no point did any of the Bethesda parents suggest stopping; they just kept going. The adults behaved like entitled children. Sit in the car. You clowns are going to ruin it for everyone. Remember, colleges recruit the family - your dynamics are on display. |
Sorry Bethesda parents, evidence is all on video. Too bad it got blocked because now you can say whatever you want eh? 100% this was on Bethesda parents. |
Nice look for all of you. That’s quite the atmosphere you all have created for those kids.
Has anyone apologized to the player who was harassed by parents? |
Where was the ref? or AR who should have been close enough to hear what was going on? First time I hear parent talking to kid on other team I am warning them and the coach, next time they are gone. |
