People are allowed to not like entertainers using sporting events for attention seeking. You would understand if you were a sports fan. It's not just Taylor and Chiefs game. The same thing goes on with actors and singers at Lakers and Knicks games. Fans find that annoying as well.

I'm a huge sports fan. I watched every single playoff game. They showed Bradley Cooper celebrating the Eagles win, and I see not one complaint online anywhere. I don't recall anyone complaining about Jack Nicholson or Spike Lee at basketball games. That's a huge distraction, but no one calls them out on that.

She's allowed to attend her boyfriend's games just like all the other folks whose partners are playing do. They literally didn't. But OK. Maybe 5 seconds worth feels like "all game" to you. Even if they did, which they didn't, it's not like they cut from a touchdown play to show her cheering them on. It's really not a big deal. Kinda like, it's entertainment or something.

Your post does not align with reality (album sales and streams, concert sales, ages of those in attendance at her concerts, merch sales, awards noms and wins, social media engagement…I could go on). Not liking her is 100% your prerogative, but “washed up” does not fit here. The time will come, but it’s not today.

I am not this poster, but it's true that men who are football fans are tired of seeing TS. It may surprise you that they watch football for sports and not for Taylor Swift. Many are waiting for Kelce to retire so they don't have to see her on game broadcasts.

None of the male football fans I know think this.

These fans who are tired of her, what is their experience? She's barely shown 2-3 times at the most during the games. Where are they seeing her so much? If the problem is social media algorithms, they need to be taught that if they stop clicking on her, they'll start seeing her less.

She's old and middle aged. Her new material is nowhere near as successful & catchy as her early stuff. Pop music has been taken over by much younger singes like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Grace Adams. I would not say she's "middle aged", but she's getting a little too mature for the mystery boyfriend schtick that has defined her career. She has three to four years before she ages out of the glittery bodysuit and boots. That will look ridiculous when she's 40.

She will also lose a lot of the angsty Millenial fan base if she gets married. It's dumb for a married woman to sing songs about her mystery boyfriend of the month.

I wrote the Tom Petty lyrics. I don’t think she will necessarily lose popularity, but you do have to wonder how many more people there are out there to convert to her fan base. She doesn’t appeal to everyone, just like the perfect “good girl” in Tom Petty’s song didn’t appeal to him. At a certain point, she will run out of places to expand. She can still make money off of her current fan base and run circles around everyone else, but recruiting a huge segment of new listeners/fans will require her to distort her “good girl” image in a way that would be damaging to her.

She doesn’t need to expand her base. She can go deeper with her existing fans and offer more products…
