Yeah it has nothing to do with Andy Reid’s coaching and bringing the Chiefs to multiple title games over all these years. |
People are allowed to not like entertainers using sporting events for attention seeking. You would understand if you were a sports fan. It's not just Taylor and Chiefs game. The same thing goes on with actors and singers at Lakers and Knicks games. Fans find that annoying as well. |
I'm a huge sports fan. I watched every single playoff game. They showed Bradley Cooper celebrating the Eagles win, and I see not one complaint online anywhere. I don't recall anyone complaining about Jack Nicholson or Spike Lee at basketball games. That's a huge distraction, but no one calls them out on that. GMAFB that this is not "just disgruntled with celebrities at sporting events." This is being disgruntled about this ONE celebrity at this ONE event. It's BS. She's allowed to attend her boyfriend's games just like all the other folks whose partners are playing do. For her, everything looks to be "attention seeking" because everyone is shoving their cameras in her face. |
They showed her all game, they also have these dweeb sports personalities talking about her all week. They also astroturf Travis’s meathead older brother on every show — now including his own late show! — and his obnoxious wife with allegedly #1 most listened to podcasts. It’s beyond overboard. It’s all so fake. |
She’s already washed up and has become an overpriced novelty act for aging millennials. This is a lucrative demo because most girl boss millennials don’t have kids so they have money to blow. |
They literally didn't. But OK. Maybe 5 seconds worth feels like "all game" to you. Even if they did, which they didn't, it's not like they cut from a touchdown play to show her cheering them on. It's really not a big deal. Kinda like, it's entertainment or something. She doesn't control what people say about her or when they talk about her. I might give you your point if she herself were doing interviews. But she doesn't. The last interview she gave to my knowledge was last year's Time Magazine article. She literally does no press. No talk shows. What the hell is she supposed to do, cease to exist for you people to be happy? It's so beyond easy to avoid Jason Kelce's show. I'm a sports fan and I haven't seen it because I'm not interested it in. Voila. See how easy it is? |
Your post does not align with reality (album sales and streams, concert sales, ages of those in attendance at her concerts, merch sales, awards noms and wins, social media engagement…I could go on). Not liking her is 100% your prerogative, but “washed up” does not fit here. The time will come, but it’s not today. |
I laugh about all the things I sang along to on the radio as a kid not understanding the lyrics. It’s a time-honored tradition, not news. |
| No. |
Pop songs are usually about relationships, shocking news |
None of the male football fans I know think this. These fans who are tired of her, what is their experience? She's barely shown 2-3 times at the most during the games. Where are they seeing her so much? If the problem is social media algorithms, they need to be taught that if they stop clicking on her, they'll start seeing her less. |
She is a wonderful person, treating the people working for her very well. Don't care for her music. |
Don't you fret, she has her philanthropy well in hand.
|
Her fan base grows and isn’t getting older. Ask my 11 year old and all her friends and their younger sisters. DP. That is absurd. I'm 57 and a new fan, as is my sister and many other women our age. That's part of her appeal - a wide range of ages. |
Exactly. |
