Usha Vance - Fashion Thread

Melanie’s outfit for today is okay but her demeanor today is that she has a huge stick up her A$$ so it takes away from the outfit. Usha’s outfit is pretty ordinary and unforgettable, the collar and scarf hanging out are terrible.

Ivanka is good although she is cosplaying British Royal Family, so nothing original. So far, not one person that truly hit the mark.

I think Usha looks lovely, and like the most sane person (both in fashion and otherwise) of this entire crew. When we saw the footage of Roslyn Carter in her boots recently during their inaugural parade, it made me wonder why all the women at these things don’t wear boots. It’s January and it’s cold.

I actually like the coat today. Nice color on her even if not appropriate for event and I can tell she picked up a brush this morning

Agree. It's better fit, even if the wrong color for the day. But it's a good color for her

I can’t believe people legitimately think Melania is more attractive than Usha. Her hair isn’t great, her face is yanked and odd, her makeup gun is eternally set on sketchy Miami club, and her 90s-pornstyle implants throw off every look. It’s too bad because I do think Melania now is very interested in interesting fashion - she chose Delpozo on a couple occasions last term, and the collar she wore (in-a-PPROPRIATE) to Carter’s funeral was runway. She doesn’t -want- to have a Sports Illustrated look on the one hand, but she also doesn’t want a unique runway model look for real for real.

I deplore the Vances’s beliefs. I am not South Asian nor related to Usha. But she has great IMO hair, a great figure, and an lovely face. I hate overly applied makeup - 90s kid, original Bobbi Brown forever for me please - and I -like- that Usha is not creating a mask with concealer and foundation. It’s unnecessary. I truly don’t see what her harshest detractors see, and I agree that her winter lewks need some help.

Exactly. She thinks she's better than women who take pride in their appearance. Of course the Trump crew is probably thrilled because they think she'll appeal to ordinary women who don't have the botoxed and bleached look that a lot of MAGA women have.

Why do some of you think this? Because she's brown and frumpy instead of white and tacky like most of the MAGA crew? She's just as awful as the rest of them. She went on Fox News to condescend to women who were (rightly) offended by her fat husband's comments. She's a pig, like the pig she married.

I love the pink coat and don’t see why people think red blue or purple are okay but not pink. It’s a great color on her and her hair and makeup look good. I think the scarf thing coming down it is weird — just a bad design element.

I feel like usha is the Ivanka of this admin. Seems more normal and relatable/sane, working mom. I think there were a few times Ivanka was able to moderate her dad but in general she didn’t really pan out as a moderating influence. I think Usha will spend the four years keeping her head dead and raising her kids. Pink is sort of the right color for this role.

I think the pink color looks nice on her. Hilary actually work pink at an inauguration I believe so I don’t take issue with the color and might prefer this shade. I don’t love the actual coat/scarf for how bulky it is with a little much going on in that respect. Not a fan of her personally.

The bolded and your concluding wannabe snapping it off sentence are both deranged. What’s your issue? What suggests that this woman does not “take pride” in her appearance? I don’t get it. And I’ve posted - not her neighbor, not Indian American, not her friend, not Republican. Like how does this woman’s appearance get under your skin to this degree? I don’t think anything about her styling is an F-you to any of us watching her.

Pepto pink is not not a good color, in this cut, on her. Too much bulk, she’s frothing at the neck with pepto pink bubbles. She should have invested in skin tight thermal undergarments, picked something with significantly less fabric, splurged to have it insulated and once again picked a more refined shoe (boot is fine but not that pair). I don’t know why she picked pink, red would have been much better, burgundy as well.

I think it is very clear that she wears the gray hair and underage bags as a badge of honor as PP said. If you can't see that, I can't make you see it. That's not me being a "wannabe" that's me seeing what is obvious to several people in this thread.

And she doesn't get under my skin to this degree. I think she actually looks nice today, largely because she appears to have spent time grooming herself.
