Bullshit. There are not 30,000+ non-VA residents are voting on Liberty’s campus. |
Why are you attacking OP for posting? Weirdly defensive posture. Sounds like you don’t like the fact that we know noncitizens are voting. |
Here in Virginia, the overwhelming majority of 1,600 registered noncitizens were removed from voter roles.
One or a tiny few citizens were swept up in the 1,600. It does not matter whether this 1,500 or so voted or not: they violated our voting laws by registering in the first place: “ To register to vote, you must swear you’re a citizen under penalty of criminal prosecution. ”. (Brennan center) Many, many noncitizens vote every year. |
One foreign kid - who was caught. That's nothing, compared to the GOP voter disenfranchisement efforts going on, mass purges of voter rolls targeting anyone with a foreign-sounding name regardless of whether or not they were born here, the repeated instances of Republicans committing fraud, tampering with elections and so on. And the 60-someodd court cases where Trump's campaign falsely claimed fraud only to end up losing in courtroom after courtroom. And the notorious GOP operative who is already a felon for prior fraudulent election activities making a movie about alleged ballot stuffing, later to have it proven false. And now, just because you have one foreign kid who was caught casting a ballot when he was ineligible, you are running around like clowns proclaiming "SEE! WE WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG!!" - nope. |
It was claimed they were noncitizens. Has it in fact been proven that all 1600 were in fact noncitizens? I have not seen any detailed analysis to bear that out. And in fact there have been many cases around the country were people were purged from voting rolls for allegedly being noncitizens but then it turned out they were born and raised in the US. |
OMG they caught A student in Michigan - this proves everything! |
Actually they didn’t even catch him and there are zero checks to confirm citizenship on anyone casting votes. What a joke. |
The people themselves claimed to be non-citizens. |
How do you know? For certain? Seems the only reason this guy was caught was because he contacted the clerk's office to see if he could get his ballot back. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/10/30/chinese-university-of-michigan-college-student-voted-presidential-election-michigan-china-benson/75936701007/ I think there are far more non-citizens voting that we know about. In some states, it is not required to prove citizenship to register. And, many of those non-citizens are illegally present. They have already broken the law once and got away with it. Why not again? And, I will remind you that a few years back the control of the VA State House was decided by drawing the name from a canister because the votes were tied. So, yes, ONE VOTE ILLEGALLY CAST ABSOLUTELY MATTERS. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2018/01/04/drawing-today-decide-virginia-state-house-race-majority-party/1002910001/ |
