What makes you think they are all uneducated? I know a woman who is a Ph. D. In Economics from Harvard who has voted for him three times and will again in 2024! She is not an anomaly.

Thinking through my Trump voting friends, they are all college educated and almost all have law degrees or MBAs.

Seriously? How do they justify voting for someone who is so obviously an inarticulate, stupid misogynist? I really don’t understand it. I do not know a single Trump supporter and can’t fathom how anyone can support him.

My daughter will not vote for Harris because of the economy - she cannot believe how prices have skyrocketed since Biden got into office and why the heck she and her husband cannot afford a home in the DC area despite making over 200K and having over 100K down payment. The interest rate, home taxes and subsequent escrow take the monthly payments out of their reach. They are willing to take a hefty commute, but during Covid, all the DCers and close in had to have their 'country' homes out in Leesburg and west, driving the prices sky high. A year ago, the idea of moving seems unfathomable to both of them. Now they both want out. In addition, they have started digging into their own news sources and are surprised at how exaggerated the claims about Trump were. The last straw was the offering of all the goodies to the "newcomers" the Biden/Harris administration brought in, leaving poor Americans drowning. The farther she gets from her college years, the more practical she's becoming.

If she's planning on having children, I hope she doesn't choose to move to a state that would put her life at risk should she experience a pregnancy complication.

His old is your daughter?

Prices went up because of Covid and supply chain issues. Gas prices are up. Gas is $8/gallon in Europe.

Prices have gone up all over the world. Prices are up in UK, Ireland, France, Portugal. There is inflation worldwide!!!! Are they blaming Biden? No! She needs a better under of economics and the global economy. Voting for Trump is not the solution.

Has she been outside of the USA?

Yes she has. And she’s researched all that and hasn’t come to the same conclusions you have. She sees it as democratic policy making

Being well-traveled has clearly not helped your daughter with her innate stupidity and complete lack of understand of how economies work.

Seriously, how do some of you function?

Another reason why my daughter is turning from the Democrat party as they appear to be arrogant and narcissistic

No one cares about your stupid daughter.

Only democrats are allowed to be elected president. Otherwise democracy will die in darkness.
Maga is not Republican. I'd be ok with any of the candidates the GOP has floated before. But now serious politicians like Romney, Bush are too whatever for magas. The magas are a fascist cult of personality. It's depressing, I agree with OP.

Bush was Hitler, now Trump is Hitler. Republicans are all Hitlers.

This exactly. Some of you may be too young to realize that this is a pattern. Bush was a moron and Trump is a racist or facist. Romney was called a racist and also derided by Obama for considering that Russia was still a threat. Every single Republican is characterized by their opponent and the water carrying media and Hollywood as somehow fatally flawed. So those of use who pay attention and are old enough to see the pattern immediately ignore all the hyperbole leveled at EVERY single Republican. We know. We are all racists and all hate women and we all carry guns and sleep with our siblings and live in trailers. Yeah yeah. We get it. Meanwhile, I’m a middle aged women who is a lawyer, has had an abortion, comes from a family or educated people none of whom own guns or trailers and I will vote for Trump. He is a better choice for the economy and for the future of our country geopolitically. For those of us who aren’t lemmings and aren’t afraid to be called names, it’s really an easy call. Kamala is a thinly veiled communist.

Same here. Middle aged suburban mom who is a regular poster. Frequently called a troll, Boris, etc whenever I express conservative opinions.

Some of the people here have never left their insulated bubble. I’ve voted for both Dems and Republicans. I don’t agree with everything Trump says, but I support vast majority of his policies.

You want millions of people to be rounded up and put into camps or deported? It's about 5% of the work force - who will do those jobs?
You want an across-the-board tariff on all imports, which will cause prices to go up and start a trade war which will hurt American exporting companies?
You want tens of thousands of civil servants to be fired and replaced by unqualified, inexperienced Trump loyalists?
You want Trump to order the DOJ to investigate, arrest and prosecute his enemies? While at the same time ordering them to drop the cases against himself, amd pardoning all those who participated in January 6, including the Proud Boys who were convicted of insurrection.

I’m fine with all those policies. Especially the first.

So you want an authoritarian dictatorship? Because that's what you're supporting.
And please don't complain when your fellow Americans use their Constitutional rights to protest against this. Or when our economy collapses from the combination of civil unrest, inflation and shortages of goods from the tariffs and mass deportations, and governmental incompetence.
And you think we're on the brink of WW3 now? Just wait til Trump lets Putin have Ukraine, and China takes the hint and goes into Taiwan.

Hope your kids aren't draft age.

Democrats are the kind party.

Except when they call people who don’t agree with them stupid, and call every republican candidate for president Hitler.

That’s right. Republicans are all evil, stupid, racist, bigoted, corrupt, and all republican candidates for president Hitler. All of them.

Democracy only works when a democrat is president. When a republican is president, America is a racist hell hole. When a democrat is president, America is a paradise of prosperity, peace, and freedom.

People who are in America illegally should be out processed at any available facility and deported.

Trump doesn’t want illegal immigrants confined in camps inside the US, because our taxpayers are still responsible for their upkeep. Trump has not proposed or ever said he is going to put people in camps and hold them prisoner.

He’s going to deport people who don’t legally belong in America.

He won’t do it because Republicans, including Trump himself, are ones hiring all the undocumented workers. All the sectors that hire them are dominated by right-wing employers. They are conning you with this. They know how to play suckers for votes, but then vote against a Republican-led border bill because it’s a better politically to do nothing and scare you with imaginary caravans.

Trump put in place many policies to remove illegal immigrants from the border during his last administration. I am voting for him to secure our border, because he has done it before. His executive actions and deals with foreign countries will be much better than the so-called border bill that let in and released thousands of illegal immigrants a day. I’m glad that bill was defeated, because it was terrible.

It is a bit deceptive, how MAGA are portraying it, but it does seem that way, doesn't it? In actuality, the picture of the "Nabraska Walz" side of the family thats been circulated around online, all of them wearing Trump/Vance shirts, are distant cousins of his, descended from the brother of his grandfather.
I don't know about you, but I have hardly ever spoken to the descendents of my grandfather's brother. I mean, sure, technically we are family...but that isn't exactly a close relationship there.

Interesting perspective. I haven’t either but then I thought of my kids. They definitely know the extended family from their grandfather’s siblings. Either way, you have extreme Trump and extreme Harris supporters in my family too. We all get along. Families can be different and it doesn’t mean anything.

The only solace I get is that these MAGA morons are going to get royally screwed if Trump gets back into office.

Trump had an OK first year or two but completely collapsed under the crisis of COVID.

All his stupid policies will decimate the economy. The rich will be happy for awhile, until their daughters start dying from pregnancy complications and the stock market crashes with Trump's erratic behaviors.

Project 2025 will start kicking in and the rural Trump dummies will get kicked good and hard in the teeth when all their benefits are slashed.

The 2026 elections will be a bloodbath for Republicans.

Enjoy it, MAGA MORONS!
