The man I'm dating told me he'd like me to stay home after kids, I don't want to do that.

I live these people that act like working for a company that does t care about them at all is somehow noble. But want to chastise people who want to commit a large part of themselves to their family?

I also love how people forget that we are animals and natural instinct plays a huge role in decisions we make.

Do you realize that to workfor your family somebody has to work for a company? Being a SAHM isn't as noble either.

Even if you actually wanted to stay home, it's the fact that he's DEMANDING that you stay home that's concerning for me.

One partner shouldn't get to unilaterally make the decisions in the marriage -- this isn't 1955 for God's sake.

If he's like this now, I'd be concerned with what else he'd demand once we were married.
Are there other signs of him being controlling, insecure or jealous?

If there are... RUN! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

It's also a sign of control.
What are you, 12??? 🤯

Or they could work for themselves. I never said being a SAHM was noble. Stating that one choice wasn’t noble doesn’t imply that another choice was.

DP. Working for yourself is actually very time consuming and even if you are your own boss, you're still provide services/goods to other people for money.
