| Pie is the best. |
I am team cake. Pie is fine but ultimately kind of meh, and I come from pie people. I’m talking exclusively about homemade pie, what with so many store bought pies being god awful. Although I did once have a spectacular lard crust apple pie. If every pie tasted like that, I would be very much pro pie. |

Pie is delicious, much more so than cakes/cookies/donuts/other sweets, but I don't have any dessert every night. It's mostly a holiday thing, but I think if I stopped at a diner on a road trip I'd get pie, though.
Am I old? |
| We had pie as our wedding dessert instead of cake. Everyone loved it! Sorry OP, young people love pie too. |

When my dad was a kid growing up on a farm in the 40s and 50s, his mom would make pies (and jams, and fruit cake) at the end of fruit season to use the extra fruit. He always talks about memories of sitting and eating an entire pie after school. Then the fruit wouldn't be available
I think a lot of them have an emotional connection to pie. |
| Old people likes calculating a circle circumference. That’s why they get excited about pie. |
| I am 67 OP and have had only a total of maybe5 pieces of pie in my life. Just like I do not like sandwiches, I do not like pie because I taste nothing but the bread/crust respectively. I do not like cake either. |
| Just came across this thread. Actually I love pie and my in laws don't eat it. It kinda annoys me on Thanksgiving when I want to enjoy the company of others who also revel in pie. |
Please be kidding. |
Good news! You can utilize your scrolling finger and your non-clicking finger! |
Yeah, the multiple kids who ate our pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving dinner would like a word. |
