Thinking the same thing. I would assume not all will accept CLC O. If Pride only loses 5-7 vs 10+ in the prior 2 years that could be a very good team when they add some others who did not make CLC.

Very unlikely anyone from 27 Pride Red is going back to 27 Pride Red. That team was a mess. I imagine Stars will be the landing spot for the ones that didn't make Blue or Orange.

Okay Stars dad. Why would they go to Stars? Both teams were already vastly inferior to Pride, and they just got much worse. There really is no Stars team left.

Actually, a Pride 27 Red Mom. Talk to anyone on the team. Lots of micro issues that have added up to a larger issue(s). Many will be happy to leave, even if Stars isn't incredible.

Yes. Huge issues.

If 150 kids tried it out for Capital and there are still 110 that didn’t make it and if only 2/3 of those children show up for the Stars team tryouts (~73) that’s still going to be a pretty good turnout to pick from for a team of like 25 max. That’s no layup either. And those numbers are probably underestimated since Stars still has presumably 30 kids from the current 2 teams that would I’d assume get priority.

Blue = 11 BLC and 5 Pride and 5 Stars

Orange = 4 Pride

did i miss anything?

A bunch of Stars got spots on Orange but not sure how many. 5 or 6?

Makes sense with the BLC / Capital alliance. Last year, and years prior, half the blue team were Pride kids. I think BLC will get more spots going forward.

This is not true for 2028s.

Then what is the point of the alliance? Capital needs younger kids and Stars pipeline isn't very good. Hence, BLS.

Pretty sure it was mainly for the 2027s and also to just have another option. That doesn't mean it won't help your 29s and younger.

At least one pride girl who didn't make Blue is going to Integrity.

So if your kid is on the team, I’ll ask you. What are the issues? Please be specific. Just saying there are issues is meaningless. All clubs have issues.

And what makes you think Stars doesn’t have the same or worse issues? There have been lots of complaints on this board about Stars management and coaching. And now that the best Stars players are gone, what is left? They were much worse than Pride before those kids left.

And Stars has no recruiting track record. Their 2025 team is ranked 135, so that is not going to change anytime soon.

The coaching at Stars has really improved this past year -- much better. Plus Kristen Carr is the program director now and has been really impressive. Also, you might only be referring to the A teams, but the Stars B team was better than Pride's this past year.

Who will be the Stars 2027 Light Blue coach and who will be the Pride 2027 Red coach?

Unlikely. The BLC pipeline isn’t strong. The ‘28s are not good. BLC is too much parent-ball to ever be great. A single year (27) means little.

You mean a single year (28) means little. BLC 29s are ranked #10 in the country. 30s extremely strong too.

As are the 31’s and 32’s, for what it is worth. Granted they are still young but looking good so far.

As some of you may know Stars had 3 2027 teams this summer 1. Light Blue (A team), 2. Navy (B team) and 3. White (former Cavs/Pride Red Loudon). White team has some talented girls, many of which who are deciding between Stars and 3d (Loudoun).

"A mess"? On what basis? Strong, motivating coaches. Ranked in top 25. Beat Stars 11-4 in October. Just spraying nonsense.

If Pride is a sinking ship then Stars is the Titanic.

I mean they did take on the extra dead weight of MCE to make sure they sink all they way down and can nuzzle up right next to it.
