Sorry for the mistype. Pride Red 28 finished 19 on the year (not 16). Makes the Hero’s G 28 squeaky one-goal win even worse. Hero’s G only beat ‘em by two during their second match on the year. Deserves triple question marks. |
Get off the Capital tryout thread jacka$$… |
As a matter of fact, I am. Are you looking to sue someone? |
No specific kids were named. It's a very valid point about competitive fairness. The only tourney all year which requires kids to be on-age sees the #1 team lose to a team outside the top team from the west. |
Capital tryouts for 2027 are over and teams selected. 2028s up next. Get used to it or move on. And you may want to eat a sandwich, drink a glass of milk, or do some...thing. Relax |
First of all, you 28 parents are all insane and it’s awesome. This and the 28 thread are so enjoyable it almost hurts.
Second, if you don’t like a post because it identifies a kid (in your opinion) why not mash that report button? Getting in a three page argument about the appropriateness of anonymous posts, although entertaining, seems tiresome unless you are truly trolling and entertaining yourself. If you don’t like it, just report it and it will go away. This is my last public service announcement because I prefer the ridiculous banter. Keep it up 28 rents! |
Agree. Probably need girls lacrosse to go the age verification route. Holdbacks for lacrosse alone, with no academic or developmental need, have become rampant for boys on the top clubs. The private schools thread for DC routinely jokes about boys aging out and not being able to play their senior season of high school. It would be a very negative development for that to spread to the girls game, and the major success that the top 2028 team has experienced is a pretty powerful incentive for more. |
love this ![]() |
Personally, I hope that the 2028 girls parents take over more threads!! |
Who are the coaches going to be? |
Holy revival |
It doesn't matter. If your DD is on the team they are getting recruited. Somebody will post the list of schools their players have committed to soon. |
Praise be to Jesus |
I am one and it is pretty bad. |
People get way too wrapped up in these club rankings and trash talk. The reality is that very few girls will be playing for a top 10-20 team.
Think about the goals for your daughter. Is it simply to get into college? Get into a better college than her academics would allow ? Do you need scholarship money? Or does your daughter just love the sport and want to continue? Everyone has their own goals and at the end of the day these club team rankings are not that important but for a very small group of people. If you are playing on a club team and put in the work and want to get recruited you can. It may not be UNC or UMD but you can find a place that aligns with your goals. It is an individual journey. There is zero money in womens lacrosse unless you are the head coach for a top program. All of the negative back and forth on here is really pointless. |
