Pippa always looks so good. She must really enjoy being this close to royalty - but not actually having to be royal. (Or maybe I am just projecting.)

She won the lottery! Her sister married a prince which put Pippa into higher society super rich circles. And so she married a billionaire! She gets the amazing lifestyle and proximity to all this without living under all the rules, publicity and scrutiny that Kate puts up with.

I thought she looked phenomenal and the embroidery was the perfect touch, plus the color was both incredibly flattering and reads really well in photographs (I'm going to remember that the next time I need something for an even with photos.

BUT I think that's the kind of dress that only makes sense for an event like this. Would also work for a very formal daytime wedding IF it's a high society wedding. But I'm never wearing a calf length cape dress to anything, it would be weirdly formal for most things and too casual/business-like for everything else.

I loved the Queen of Lesotho’s dress.

Thank you for the pic! Yeah, I love that dress, especially the color!

I don't like color or cut.

I do like Felipe and think he would like me as his queen.
He’s so handsome.

Jill looks great. The suit fits nicely. I think others criticizing it were looking at a bad angle. The color is beautiful.

Not a fan of the granddaughter’s outfit. Is that the one that just got married recently in the White House? Clearly this shade of yellow was the “it” color as this is the third time we’ve seen it. Pippa wore it best.

I think Jill and the granddaughter look great. I would have skipped Jill's gloves since they don't fit at all.

Won the lottery? Have you seen her husband?

He is a perfectly serviceable, attractive husband; rich, tall, fit. He is not drop dead gorgeous and tends to smirk a bit in photos, but who wants someone more attractive than you? I wouldn’t like to look like Princess Beatrice and be married to someone who looks like her husband Edoardo, for instance. Keep them feeling grateful and on their toes.

Nobody yet had mentioned Princess Anne. She looked fantastic - what a cool lady.

I like the headband things, especially on Charlotte, but I’m sad we didn’t get to see the tiaras. As someone up thread said, this family owns sooooo much jewelry buying new for this type of occasion seems silly. Reuse is a cornerstone of green policy after all! And I want to see the pretty tiaras of course 😉

That being said, King Charles III is a lot older than me so I expect I’ll get to witness another coronation in my lifetime assuming the whole system doesn’t get dismantled.

Right but it's not about the actual policy, it's about the perception of the policy. And wearing something that looks like it costs millions of dollars doesnt seem wise at this time either.

For guests, was it a good idea to wear Red, White or Blue? (Was that a goal? Looking at Rania, for example)

I thought everyone looked great. Except for Katy Perry's hat.

Wow, between the dress and the bearing she looks like a queen in a movie.
