MDU is improving, and they have the best individual player in the region, but has been erratic. Pride 2028 tied them last Summer, for example. M&D is struggling against top competition. Heroes Green is beatable. Pride had a lead going into the last 10 minutes and lost by 1 in November. Lots of changes as players develop. Should be a very interesting Spring. I'm hoping a DMV team beats one of the top 5 this year. It's not impossible. And no merger necessary... We can wait for Capital.

Coppermine unbeatable? Hero's beat them last spring, MDU lost by 1 to them in Spring. Crush and M&D tied them over summer.

I do agree Coppermine top 2028 team, but def beatable. Hero's lost by 2 this past weekend to them.

I think you proved my point. Coppermine hasn't been beaten by another mid-Atlantic team since last Spring... All the rest have.

Coppermine got beat by Crush today!

May want to check Tourney Machine again. Coppermine 3-0. Beat Crush 7-6…. Keep trying though.

You are correct, Coppermine over Crush by 1. Tourney Machine originally said Crush by 1 and has now been updated. Coppermine should have smooth sailing until MDU on April 30.

Tough weekend for Next Level:

17-2 loss against Pride yesterday
16-1 loss against Crush today

Presumably missing some key players for spring break?

I can’t wait for pride to crush stars this spring. That will surly show who now dominates the middle school girls lax in NOVA.

Feeling a little over confident with your 2 early NGLL wins?

This was obviously a troll. Not a Pride parent type of post... Spelling is one indication. And certainly no reason to get overconfident after two strong games against overmatched teams.

In any event, there is an interesting opportunity on Saturday the 16th to get a comparison, as Stars and Pride play M&D back to back at Word of Grace. That should be probative on where they stand this season. First time that I'm aware of that M&D has had to travel to NOVA as well.

We'll have to wait for game 8 in May to settle the Pride/Stars rivalry for this NGLL season though.

Serious question... how many 28 Pride kids do you think will leave and try out for STARS this summer? Over under is 5.5.
I am thinking over 5.5.

Give me Stars winning in a close game on that last day of the NGLL season.

I learned from my older daughter that after 7th grade is the ideal time to position yourself for a future team. After 8th grade teams are a little more locked in. You’ll see a surprising shift after seventh grade as many families already know this.
