True. The French helped Americans maintain slavery and murder Native Americans at will.

With the British slavery would have been abolished and we'd have universal healthcare and proper separation of powers.

England aboloushed slavery and yet its economy was wholly dependent upon low cost products made possible by slave labor throughout the world such as American cotton and Cuban sugarcane. England abolished slavery but compensated slaveowners handsomely for their losses while compelling the newly manumitted to continue working for free as “apprentices” for another four years.

Yeah, it is easy to bash the French since 1900. They are just kind of “there” and sort of fight but not really.
That being said, France does fight and did have americas back during the revolution and our building of a nation.

France and America are a family- as much as neither or of us may or may not like it.
