Your kid wasn’t on that team so you are not affected in anyway shape or form! |
You can’t possibly be this stupid or evil? Your kid wasn’t in the classroom in Ulvade, so why do you care abt school shootings? Your daughter wasn’t raped, so why do you care about safe access to abortion? You selfish MAGA sh!ts are the literal worst people on earth. |
You have no idea what teams PP’s kids are on, or will be on. This one coach won’t be the end of this because the Court just allowed every coach like this, and there are thousands of them in this country, to do whatever they want. |
You’re a moron. The Supreme Court just made this everybody’s business by saying any coach or teacher teacher at any public school can push their religion on kids under their supervision as long as they tell kids that they have authority over that it is it is voluntary. It is a license to manipulate kids and abuse public positions of authority and plenty of a-holes will use that license. |
Actually, no. That is not the ruling. They ruled that the coach is able to exercise HIS free speech and HIS religious beliefs. If the kids want to participate, that is up to them. You people are trying to make this into something it isn't...... as most of the issues that you disagree with. |
He can pray independently and/or in private, nobody is stopping him from praying. If he wants to preach to a group he can become a pastor and do that in church. As a person in a position of authority, he does not get to use that platform, funded by taxpayers, to promote his religion. How would you like it if your child’s teacher started each class by rolling out a mat and praying to Allah? |
| I’m sure those kids who want to play would not feel at all pressured to join Coach’s prayer circle. They’d happily stand on the sidelines while most of their teammates held hands with Coach. |
Video games and social media are not allowed in school either. What exactly is your point? |
The supreme Court decides issues, not individual cases. Yes, they've opened the door for this for everyone |
Why are you lying about what he is doing? He is not preaching to anyone. He is praying. And, once again for those who are outraged and uninformed..... the few students who expressed discomfort with joining in the prayer...... this coach made them co-captains for their willingness to speak up. |
Wake up! They want to control us all! It’s like asking why the Taliban can’t just let women go to school in Afghanistan. They are evil and resistant to reason. |
I hope that that will be totally fine going forward so long as they don't make other people participate. Let's face it. People will because when someone authority is doing it in a position of power you tend to follow. |
But that isn't what the coach was doing. Alito told lies in his majority brief. As such, there should be an invalidation mechanism, when a decision is based on lies. |
And if you don't believe that a coach as a coersive role in the life of their player, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. |
Nobody is buying your spin. We can see with out own eyes. If your only answer is to gaslight us then don’t waste your time. With logic like that you could say that the Mob just really wants to protect small businesses by running a racket! Don’t piss on my leg and tell me it’s raining. |
