| Jesus loves everyone, but if he hated anyone, this coach and the Justices in the majority decision would be high on the list. These are exactly the kinds of insincere hypocrites that pissed him off back in his human days. |
Same and another health care provider here. This would be akin to me leading the code room in the Lord's Prayer when we pronouce a patient's death. I may say it to myself, but as the person clearly in charge of the code, it would be completely out of line for me to deliver the perceived expectation to all team members that their participation in my ritual was necessary. And that's exactly how it would be perceived, as hierarchies work this way. In medicine, in politics, and on the field. Any other interpretation of this coach's actions is willfully obtuse. And intentional. |
Yup. And even funnier is that Jesus said those who make a public spectacle of prayer are "hypocrites" and will "have no rewards." The Bible pointedly tells Christians many many times to explicitly not make a show of prayer.

Exactly, it's like these so called Christians have never read the New Testament. Hope they like Wicca and Paganism and Buddhism and Islam and whatever. Because now they are going to get that too. No more removing yoga or meditation from the schools, ha. |
| My religious belief compels me to teach Critical Race Theory. Can I do that on the 50 yard line, with a megaphone? Or do I need to keep my beliefs to myself? |

Haha. Love it. |
No. The SC only decides individual cases not issues. Stop it if you don't know what you are talking about. |
