| Supreme court started this mess |

lol of course they fking ruled this way. What did you expect? I like how they released this ruling after the abortion thing, ya know, because it’s not big deal.
Non-Christians are truly second class citizens in this country. |

This is about free speech and free exercise of religion.
No student is forced to participate in a post game prayer. This decision affirms the right for a coach to pray publicly following a game (or before a game). This does not violate the separation of church and state. |
| Perfect. Lets start leading some Muslim prayers in school. |
| Trump turned the US into a theocracy of Roman Catholics who indulged and hid their pedophile priests without a second thought. Now they get to own women's wombs because, with a declining population, it's hard for those God-fearing priests to find new victims. |
Read the case. Students felt pressured to participate in the coach’s prayers because they thought if they didn’t then they would be disfavored and not get playing time. |
| I can't wait til the local Imam shows up with the same request. |
He can pray silently. There is no need to kneel when praying. You wouldn't kneel if you were falling down a well but you'd be praying like crazy! I am sick of these holy rollers who wear their religion on their sleeves and cram it down other people's throats. |
Jesus didn’t like them much either, IIRC. |
He is in a position of POWER over them, of course they felt pressured. The Taliban of the West is on a roll. Abort the illegitimate court! |
This. And if you’ve ever met one of these blowhards, you know it’s absolutely true that they discriminate against people who don’t indulge in the same public showy displays of Christian faith that they do. The coach should be fired and run out of town. Ignore the ruling and let the Court try to enforce it. |
This is no different than your manager starting team meetings with a prayer circle. |
