Mine got the same email last week. We were then asked for a couple things but haven’t heard back.

PP here. We haven’t heard back yet either. We were not asked for additional information but we had already submitted a LOCI and the most recent grades. Thanks for sharing your experience. At least we know now we are not the only ones waiting.

Letter last night from Notre Dame saying waitlist is closed. Letter also said if DC wanted to transfer next year their application would be seriously considered or have additional weight (or something to that effect).

The only recent TikTok that has anything about the WL is from a few weeks ago where she encourages those on the WL to deposit elsewhere and be excited about the other school. So not an outright “no” but also not much hope for any/much movement

Dean J emphasized that you might as well move on. UVA is a small campus. They have very little room and even kids that get into IVY choose UVA instead. So there aren’t as many openings because there’s little growth at their school to expand. I would not count on it.
