2022 DMV Girls Outlook

SR is good but also lost some good players to graduation. It sounds like GC has a bunch of recruits. Should be an interesting year.

One thing here is not like the others. GC isn’t part of this crowd and doesn’t belong in the discussion of DMV girls teams.

Get over yourself and your hatred of GC. They do belong and just because you hate them does not mean they don't belong. WCAC is in the DMV and right now they are the best in the WCAC after being undefeated in the WCAC last year. They were ranked #18 nationally.

Sorry your daughter didn't get in or didn't get recruited by them the way you like or whatever it is. But clearly you have never gotten over it because you feel the need to comment every single time they are mention. Sad and pathetic really.

Does GC ever not admit anyone? Doubtful but who TF cares? No one normal wants to go there. It’s crappy, low rent, and in the middle of nowhere. Not in the DMV.

You know what they say, if your team ain’t better than them, knock them down a few pegs so you look better.

Sounds like someone in the DMV is worried about GC as this is the most discussion they’ve got on here in years. Usually they are an afterthought that people ignore.

Teams can't really control who they play aside from the one on the other side of the draw. STAB did well. They will win VISAA this year without question. SSSAS will probably lose to PVI or BI.

PVI? Are you high? PVI has no good juniors or seniors. And no history of winning. PVI sucks. What are you talking about?

What about the Pride 2023 girls? Will they make a difference?

Way overrated. Over the past two seasons they played the #1 ranked and #6 ranked hardest Fall schedules. How dare they for being s new high school club team. They should have run from the top competition. Their last game this Fall they beat a top 10 team. Their goal differential the entire Fall was 4 goals. They simply could not hang with anyone. What were they thinking. Their game with Capital was a one goal game with several minutes left, credit to the capital goalies outstanding play that game and some late hero ball by two Pride players who took some poor shots and couldn't be controlled by their coach. But that's what you get when the team didnt have a single full team practice this summer or fall. Lucky if half the team showed up for practices for various reasons. Players are very talented, coach was uninspiring and club director didn't give a s&^t. Oh what if they had practices, what if their coach just had an ounce of interest. Just way over rated.

Whenever someone starts talking about goal differentials and strength of schedule, you know it is an uphill battle especially when their Fall record was 4-8. Also good to see them trashing fellow teammates for playing “hero ball” against a rival. Oh and then to complain about practice time is also pretty weak. You may have been better off not writing that post. Btw. I don’t see the Long Island Jesters in the Top 10 this Fall, but they have been a good team.

I saw them play last year. Pretty weak. Do they have any commits to top colleges?
