Its not snarky, Sparky. Its called following public health guidance. And yes I'll be the first to flag it to the principal or soccer coach if I know a family is out of compliance. |
It's been 3 days but move along Karen. |
Your OP literally says you returned yesterday |
| It’s obnoxious to call anyone a “Karen” because they are highlighting public health guidance for children to attend school. |
| We returned from DE on Thursday so we could do the same day testing drive thru on Sunday. I’ve heard the turn around is fast. I paid the rush fee for my daughter as her ipl starts Monday. The rest of us are getting the free test. |
This plan makes sense! |
| Curative is free and results come back in 24-48 hours. Many locations in Washington, D.C. |
You have to be back in DC for 3 days before you can take any of these tests. If you didn’t come back this past Thursday, kids won’t be able to go to school on Monday. Then you may prefer to pay up for a truly rapid test instead of waiting 24-48 hours. Not sure how schools enforce this. Honor system! |
Ha! Unless you are getting parents to sign sworn legal documents there is NO enforcement. If the Johnson family goes camping for 2 nights in PA, will they get tested? |
| Yep. They should. Otherwise they are not following the rules of the City or the School. |
It’s not obnoxious it’s inaccurate |
| Test cannot be Rapid. Must be PCR. |
| Just go back, there is no real enforcement mechanism. If they say something sue. |
And this is why the rest of the city complains about entitled white families who insist on in person learning while covid rates are still high. So effing selfish. |
They gave facts, which you and/or OP don’t like and find inconvenient. And you dismiss facts as “snark.” #SAD |
