Pretty sure we already have laws against everything that occurred. The rub is, as always: Will they be enforced? Probably not. |
Let's see..... Biden, when asked about Hunter's business dealings in Ukraine and Russia, previously has said he doesn't talk to his son about business and knew nothing. That was a lie, as evidence that has come to light proves. Secret Service was involved... Why? Does Biden know anything about this? His spokesperson says he doesn't, but we can't trust his statement. How did the SS know about this and who sent them? You know damn well that if Don Jr. or Eric Trump had this story written about them when their dad was president, Trump would have been asked about it... in fact, it would probably be the first question. |
If I sent my security to deal with the aftermath of my child’s illegal activities and then didn’t disclose it? Also, Hunter is way past high school. He’s an adult. |
+1 and headlines on every news outlet, online and on tv. |
What illegal activity? His daughter-in-law disposed of a gun incorrectly? |
|
It sounds like he was really troubled and she got rid of the gun the only way she could think of at the moment so he wouldn’t hurt himself.
That’s really sad. There’s so much sadness in Biden’s life. Trump had all this awful corruption and Biden scandals are just SAD. |
Did you miss the part where he lied on the gun application about his drug usage? Did you miss the entire point of the news story? That the Secret Service tried to cover this incident up? If you don’t see a problem here, please don’t say another word about gun nutters, Trump’s kids, or government “cover ups” because you are nothing more than a partisan hack of the worst form. |
DP. I've got no problem with investigating whether the Secret Service did anything wrong here, but it is pretty different when your dad is actively in charge of the Secret Service vs a former vice president/private citizen at the time. |
It’s illegal to do what was done and if the Secret Service tried to cover the incident up? These are adults. Everyone has sad things in their lives. That doesn’t mean you can throw guns in trash cans and abuse your privilege and lie about it and hide behind sadness. |
So the Secret Service got involved how? |
No denying that, Hunter Biden seems like a major screw up. It doesn’t really have much to do with the President as far as I can tell. |
I don't know, which is why an investigation would be reasonable, but "they were ordered to by the president" isn't a likely option like it would be if it had been Eric Trump in 2018, which is why those hypothetical accusations would be more serious. |
| Again, how is the SS involved here? Sounds like the wife was worried he would hurt himself and scared about contacting law enforcement or seeking other help. No wonder, given who was running the country at the time. Sad. Is she the one who called the authorities in the end when she discovered the gun missing? Seems like she was trying to do the right thing and mad a mistake. |
This is the super made up sounding part. |
But, we don't know that as fact. |
