Wouldn't you be miserable if your husband fake married three women after you, had many kids, whom you are expected to contribute to and then divorced you for a new wife. |
Agreed and the funny thing is that Robin seems pissed at Kody all the time and is more in it for the sister wives |
Certainly not as a group. I had kids at the same elementary school and saw the parents at school related events but it was only ever as a couple, not a group. |
If any man said that, that is the clear writing on the wall to get out. Those women deserve better and he's setting a terrible example as a "father" for those kids. Sadly, I don't see what they see in him. They are the ones who are earning all the money and doing the heavy parenting. He what, come around every couple of nights for a few hours? |
Of course, but at a certain point, Meri has to take responsibility for her own happiness. Meri and Cody's relationship is dead. There is so much animosity and contempt in their relationship. Way too much to overcome at this point. Cody still gets his physical and emotional needs met from his other relationships, but Meri doesn't and she can't get a hall pass either. Cody isn't going to force her out so Meri needs to recognize her part in staying in this miserable situation and instead of just complaining or being miserable about it, which is what she has done for years, she needs to finally do something about it. |
He divorced her and they were friends with benefits at best as he married another woman. Yes, she should get a hall pass. He got one and went on to marry 3 other women. |
|
Isn't Kodi still legally married to just her? Or did he switch wives?
If they're still legally married and she's first wife - she gets his death benefits, pension, and primary life insurance. The other wives are SOL. |
Why do they keep moving? They had a huge house in Utah or wherever it was and each wife had their own living quarters in the same home. Then they moved to Vegas and they had 3 separate brand-new homes on the same cul-de-sac plus Meri's a little away. Now they've moved again? Are they perennial renters? |
Can he force out? According to Mormon 'polygamy' statutes? Or is that a no-no? |
Its polygamy not polyandry. Mormons are perfectly okay with being hypocrites. |
He switched primary wives. Kody and Meri divorced, and he married Robyn (which supports what a PP upthread said about Robyn being the only one he wants now) |
| This is one of those shows that I occasionally hate watch. The only one I like is Janelle who seems like a well adjusted human. The rest are just people who complain because they like complaining. I can’t take anymore of Robin’s frowny a** face over all this trivial sh*t. Maybe I’ll pray on it. |
I don't understand why Janelle stays. She's the only one with any sense of the entire bunch and yet she's the one pushing the whole "we're a family" thing. Her relationship with Kody seems to be more brother/sister than anything else. |
Didn’t her mother marry Kody’s dad? She has deep roots in polygamy so this all probably looks normal to her. |
| She is just the most miserable person. I think she stays out of spite to haunt the family forever. |
