I watched this show regularly the first season, but now whenever I stumble across it, all the adults are just sitting around a table, looking dour and discussing how misunderstood they feel. It's like a long, unending conference. None of them make polygamy look appealing at all.

I agree with that but I think they have monetized the show a bit and their personal businesses have seen a lot of success. But they can't make that much because Meri sells an eff ton of Lularoe and no one who's doing awesome is selling Lularoe. I think she's been able to become one of the 1% that makes money because she's a sister wife though. And I think her B&B in utah is doing well. I actually think she brings in probably the most of any wife right now.

I agree. I wish Meri would just go to Utah and run the B&B and make that part of the show. That would surely be more interesting than this. Or maybe focus on the kids a bit more. I feel like we never see them.

They used to be paid $180,000 per adult per season for 10 years. Then reduced it to $180,000 for all the adults per season. Now it's 10% of the episode budget for all the adults (about $25,000-$40,000 per episode).
