Most definitely!

Isn’t it a day old when you get it?

I'm just impressed that 2 dozen bagels lasted you 2-3 months. They'd br gone in a week in my house.

Do you store them in the freezer? How do you reheat so that they taste the freshest? Interested!!

Bagels from the best bagel place in my area are $2/each with no discounts for quantity so I don't think $60/2 dozen shipped is bad! What I've been wanting to buy but have resisted is a lb of those little dehydrated marshmallows like the ones in lucky charms.

Sometimes I buy Lender’s bagels at the grocery store which are in the freezer aisle. They actually reheat really well! I mean, it’s no comparison with a good NY bagel but they do reheat fine from frozen as do many bread products.

I can't imagine not fresh bagels are good no matter how good they were freshly cooked.

There is something about the NY water which makes their pizza crust, bagels, and other carbs so delicious. You can't reproduce it anywhere else; it's gotta be the water.

Have you tried Bagels and.. in Annapolis?

While you’re on goldbelly, try the bagels and salmon from Russ and Daughters - delicious.

Agree. Second day bagels are just ok, even from NY. Second day bagels that have been in the freezer 2 months are probably still just ok, but I'm not buying amazing.

In January, I found them on clearance at a small grocery store and bought 12 bags of them. 1 bag a month to last me until next Christmas.

I have 3 bags left.

I think you have shown amazing restraint!

This is us! Essa Bagel is/was on my walk from my hotel to the Penn Station when I had to go to NYC every other week for work. I would bring them home for the kids all the time. Goldbelly brings them now though the salt ones don't ship well.

OP here. When I get them, I slice each one in half. I put four per bag in a Ziplock in the freezer. When I take one out, I microwave it for 30 seconds with a mug of water in there too. Then pop them in the toaster.

I did something similar when guests brought bagels from NY or NJ back in the day. Except I individually foil wrapped each one within the plastic bag. Then reheat still in foil in the over or toaster oven straight out of the freezer for 15ish minutes. Take off the foil and place face down direct on the rack for the last 5-10 minutes.

I received a gift card from Goldbelly and I really want to try the Lou Malnotti pizza- is that what you’re talking about? Worth it? Also my apologies for derailing from bagels but a new small market opened in Kensington and they have these crab bombs that I’m now addicted to. They’re expensive but so good!!!! I try to only get one per week and I split them in half.
