Their midfield sux. Thats y.

Uhm their midfield is the only good part of this team. And they have an amazing goalie

These posts are bothersome. You're talking about a 14yo.

The midfield is okay ike the rest of the team, but these moms also talk like this off the field. Your little Mia is not that special folks.

Hello ___________! (everyone can fill in that blank)

pretty sure the no jeff cup is a safety precaution for McLean teams more than a refusal to show up

It’s only McLean ECNL 07 and 08 not doing jeff cup. The older girls (06 and up) are doing jeff cup. Make of that what you will.

Right. It was safe to play in Richmond in November during the ECNL season, but not safe in mid-March? Is McLean also going to cancel their upcoming ECNL games against Richmond in early April?

This is not a safety precaution as the post about the older girls playing in Jeff Cup shows.

Let’s face it, there will be a lot of turnover for the 07 team this summer.

McLean 07s need a center back and a forward who can finish better, but so too does every other team. Now if GK and a couple midfielders left for Arlington, the wheels would fall off.

Hard for any team to replace a good GK especially as they get older and there are even fewer kids still playing the position.

So this brings up and interesting point...can players go to McLean from Arlington or Arlington to McLean now? Does the announcement of Arlington getting ECNL place both clubs under ECNL rules or is there a free agent period? Knowing the ECNL I bet there is an agreement in place before the announcement with all existing ECNL club in the area.

Who knows, but one of the 07 MFs left Arlington for McLean during the season, so presumably she'd not consider a move back.

When in doubt, assume clubs are colluding.

After May 1st, any player can change clubs within ECNL.

Which means players looking to move will be attending practices of other clubs this month and next.
