RANT ON! DC is making absolutely zero effort to clear snow from the bike lanes

Bike in the darn street, if it it that important to you. Did you notice that not all residents have cleared their sidewalks? Things don't run perfectly in winter weather - at least we have electricity and water!!

See the responses, OP? People can’t even understand that your rights are being trampled. I’m sure they’re not morons - they just don’t see that all transports should have the same importance. There needs to be serious reframing of the transportation debate in the US.

There are indoor pools. The city makes it more of a priority for dullards like you to go swimming than it does for cyclists to stay alive.

I have actually considered driving down Old G with my sled dog and sled! Wondered how legal that is. For this to work I need snow to NOT be cleared, though, so for the purposes of this discussion, we’re on the other side.

One day, I’ll try that while it’s still pouring snow and before plows come into action.
